Truly excellent faucet, but not so much right out of the box.
Ok, so this faucet is an incredible buy for so many reasons, but requires a little attention before it behaves the way it should. It is solid metal construction, very elegant looking, and has a smooth flow. It's a great product that's far better than what you can find at Home Depot for three times the price, and is one of the nicest faucets I've ever installed. Also, my experience with waterfall faucets in the past is that they usually have a very low flow to minimize splashing, which limits their usefulness, but because of the downward slope of the spout, this is not so much of a problem here. However, out of the box this product functions embarrassingly. Like many others who have reviewed it here on Amazon, I experienced very low flow at first. The hot water came out acceptably (though not great), but the cold was scarcely a trickle. As some of the other reviews have stated (John Kolacz's was the most helpful), this is due to sediment and metal shavings in the faucet leftover from the machining process. Thankfully, the faucet can be flushed out with some patience, making it work the way it should. Without doing this, the product is essentially unusable and I would not recommend it at all. Here is what I did to get this beauty to function as smooth as it looks. First, take off the spout by removing the screws which fasten it to the underside. This must be done to flush out the faucet innards. Any particles within the faucet will be too big to fit through the small opening in the spout, especially with the plastic flow restrictor in place. Once the spout has been removed, take the faucet to a working sink, turn the handles into the open position, and run water through all of the openings (the two threaded connections on the underside and the hole on the top for the spout). In my case, I had black, greasy metal shavings come flushing out. Afterwards, you should be able to blow through these openings with ease. The next step is to clean out the spout itself. Using a pair of very fine tweezers, remove the plastic flow restrictor from the underside. Now, run water through the spout to clean out any particles or sediment that would be unable to pass with the flow restrictor in place. Then rinse the flow restrictor itself. Unless you prefer a light trickle to a standard flow (for instance if the basin of your sink is small enough to cause substantial splashing), I recommend removing the tiny o-ring from the flow restrictor as well. Even with very fine tweezers, this is hard to do as it's quite small. Finally, replace the flow restrictor sans o-ring, screw back the spout into the faucet assembly, and install as usual.I hope this helps everyone who is dismayed by the performance of this product. It's not defective, just really dirty. Once you flush it out, this faucet is a steal for sure! Best of luck!

WOW More than expected
This faucet was easy for my plummer to install. I was attracted to the design but nervous about all the technical info offered. Another learning curb to master because I do not like returning products. My worry (center set vs wide set) and the spout being to large for my basin was laid to rest.I am more than happy with this hi-end style and it is beautiful and functions as designed.

PARLOS Waterfall Spout
I am pretty sure that I wrote a review for this product but It shows up in my list of items that need reviewing so I guess I will tell you the story of how we met... lol. I was working as a picker at Amazon and I had the chance to pick a bathroom faucet and I was like wow, this is simply beautiful, I had worked for Amazon close to a year at this time, and had never picked any bathroom or shower fixtures so decided then and there that when I got off of work I would go to Amazon.com and look at the shower fixtures. There were a few that I liked but the waterfall faucet was desired so I ordered it and it came, It sat for like 2 days because we couldn't get a hold of our plumber so I looked on you tube for a few video's and learned how to install bathroom faucet fixtures and I installed this unit myself. Who would have ever thought? This unit is beautiful, and the water flows out of it in such a way as to cause pleasure at the sight of it, and so many people compliment it. A very good investment. Now, the only bad thing I can think of is the pop up drain that comes with it. It drains slow, very, very slow, and sometimes the sink will nearly fill. I am uncertain if it is the drain or something in the pipes further down the line but it is annoying. Also, if you do ever purchase this type of pop up drain I suggest investing in a cup, and a rod of some sort to pop the drain up and down because lets face it, you do not need a degree in microbiology to see that there are some unsanitary conditions going on here. All in all, this unit is well worth the money and a steal.

Nice faucet and easy to install.
Installed easily. Very nice and won't have to worry about cleaning an aerator anymore. I purchased one for guest bath and liked it so I ordered two more for the master bath. I will caution anyone purchasing for a smaller sink basin. I took other reviewer's suggestion and removed the restrictor valve in the base of the faucet to allow a larger flow of water. I will not remove the restrictor for the next two I am going to install. If you turn the handle too high the water will splash out of a smaller sink. But even with the restrictor removed it does fine if you don't turn the handle wide open.

Worth It, Some Caveats.
These are nice to look at and easy to install. I've read some reviews stating they had leaking, but I bought 3 at once and there's no leaking. I used my own hoses, though, and maybe they were referring to an older drain design. The caveats they possess are tolerable for me. They are...1. Unknown brand. Reputation is non-existent so hoping for longevity, but we're not expecting as much as mainline brands, obviously.2. Speaking of the brand, we don't like the funky name etched on the front, but in most angles, you don't really see it.3. Finish is not spot resistant so hard water spots appear easily. We're sticklers about stray water drops, though, so either way it's no big deal. We're careful to not make a mess and we wipe away when needed.4. The plastic drain tube. Wish it were metal or at least a more strong-feeling plastic, but it works.5. As others may have pointed out, due to the thickness of the outer ring, the drain (topside of sink) does keep a tiny bit of water without draining down 100%, but it's no biggie in the type we got.For the price, you get a very nice looking brushed nickel waterfall faucet with a few tolerable downsides. You pay one fourth of the price of what you'd pay for others, so be realistic.

So far so good.
So far so good. Easy install. Solid piece and no leaks thus far. Ordered another one for my Master bedroom. Still moved feeling about this style of sink, but I like it so far.
