Great build quality, needs more USB taps.
My shipping experience from this company was delayed. Its coming from Hong Kong and at the timing of this review is currently experiencing some political issues which can lead to delays. SO, FYI.Otherwise it works as described. I did not really pay attention the fact this device comes standard with DC power and most of my camera/equipment uses USB or some other proprietary cables. Keep that in mind if you decide to purchase this alongside the camera cage and other accessories.I love the build quality, superb in comparison to other competitors in the space. I have yet to receive the dull camera rig setup for Sony Alpha FF, so when I do I will update.

Well built power distribution for your camera accessories
Reading the previous review I was surprised. For me the JTZ DP30 works great. I have a couple v-mount power distributors. This one is definitely more pricey compared to a couple others on the market but the build quality far exceeds those other cheaper units. The unit feels solid. The housing, the connectors. The unit is well machined. It feels durable and and thus far for me it has been. I have no problems with the v mount fitting any batteries like the previous reviewer stated. For me it has worked perfect for every battery I’ve attached. Brands like Maxoak, Rolex, and Soonwell. So far not one battery I’ve had a problem with. The unit itself is pretty straight forward. It has a lot of connectors dc, dtap, and usb. I’ve run every connector at once for 5-6 hours straight using larger 230wh batteries and it performs with no issues. The unit is able to charge the battery or power thru ac adapter. I think that is my only gripe. The 2 power inputs for this thing are both 5 pin mini xlr male connectors which is hard to find if you want to macgyver your rig and try other forms of dc power. I just made my own custom cable that runs a dtap off a backpack mounted 230wh battery right into the JTZ DP30 attaches to a handheld Bmpcc4k rig. Runs the camera, Tilta nucleus, smallhd 502 bright and my cell for hours.

Not built to spec. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR GEAR.
As others have pointed out, v-mounts have to be forced on. Slamming a fist on the back of your camera rig to seat your battery is...not good.I also suspect the power distribution is the source for a few of my components experiencing DC jack failures. Both my Zacuto EVF and SmallHD 702 Touch have gone down and I haven't been able to pinpoint a cause until I heard a voltage arc when trying to seat the battery...The off switch only controls the DC pins, the P-Tap has free reign.

Great quality, great design.
Great quality and works great with a7s. The only thing to look out for is that you have the right battery for v Mount, not all batteries fit the into the pins.

Many Issues - Avoid
I've been really happy with my other JTZ/Shape pieces of gear. This on the other hand is a complete piece of junk. Here's why:1. The battery lead connector pieces are too large for any V-Mount batteries, and the batts have to be forced onto and off of the power supply, it takes a good amount of force, or strong smack to get a battery on or off.2. It only outputs power sometimes. I cannot figure out when it will work, or what makes it work. You would expect to only have to mount a battery and then start plugging things into the power supply, but that's not the case. Currently I cannot get any power out of this box at all and am shopping for a replacement.3. The 15mm rail adjustment arm is just a trainwreck of bad design. The provided screw doesn't tighten down the arm to the power supply body, leaving it to wiggle around significantly. The motion lock in the center of the arm doesn't provide enough force to stop even small amounts of movement, a V-Mount battery, with the power supply mounted upside down, is more weight than the motion lock can hold. The lock is nearly worthless.
