but I didn't like the initial smell of the rubber
5 stars so far because they come with an oil fitting and a paint job that isn't flaking off. I appreciate how the edges are chamfered, but I didn't like the initial smell of the rubber. I was concerned about this, but the overall ratings here made me give them a try. Here's what I did. After getting my 8x4s, I left the box sitting outside for a couple of days to see if that helped. No joy. As soon as the sun hit them, I didn't want to be within 10 feet of the box. I hate that smell. Next step clean em up. My product of choice was Ajax Powder Cleanser with Bleach and hot tap water. I soaked a regular sponge in the water, sprinked about 1-2 tsp on the sponge and got to work on the rubber only. I placed the 8x4 on it's side on a square piece of plywood so the tire was free to rotate but the whole assembly was supported. I would rinse the sponge in the bucket of hot water and sprinkle more Ajax on it three times for each wheel. I used a sponge to easily get in the treads without the splatter of a brush. I avoided getting any water or cleaner into the axle bearing or the pivot greased ball bearing area.I made sure to rinse them before the Ajax and water dried. I splashed a little water into the axle area by accident, but I didn't seem to ruin the bearings the way a skate board will get ruined wheel bearings that aren't sealed the first time you ride thru a puddle.I left the wheels outside to dry. After four days the smell was essentially gone. How gone is gone? Well like I said I hate that smell and won't stand for it in any way. So I took an 8x4 into my garage and didn't smell it. I walked right up to the wheel and didn't smell it until I got unusually close (hey tire, we're just friends, this is for science). The real test was I put a wheel in my bedroom. I'm sitting next to it and don't smell it.However, if I pick it up and hold it by the wheel, that smell will get on my hands still. So yeah 5 stars.FWIW I wanted some with total brakes and am slightly bummed, because while I don't have to invent the wheel, apparently I have to invent the brakes :)

Heavy duty caster
I was able to replace the single front wheel from a Little Wonder push Blower ... by using just the wheel. Although, is much heavier spins very easy. Removed the wheel sleever and was able to use the 5/8 bolt from the original machine. Save about $70 from not ordering from the dealer and the wheel is much nicer. By the way..... this one hardly smell. Very happy with the purchased.

Great, heavy duty casters for uneven terrrain!
These casters are absolutely awesome... I built a solar rack out of heavy old pallet wood to replace one that had grown too small for my needs. (Plus, it got rid of some junk wood from the property!)But, with my old set of two fixed 5-inch wheels and a pivot point, the thing was nearly impossible to move as needed to track the sun manually. I was a bit wary of the price for these casters--when a set of four 5-inch casters costs as much as one of these--but I decided that a bigger, rubberized wheel would be better for the desert sand and rocks out here. At the last minute, I decided to get 4, instead of using two and a pivot.I am glad I did. With one of these casters at each corner, the rack moves so easy, far easier than my old rack with half the panels and much less than a quarter of the weight. The wheels do have an odor when they arrive, as mentioned previously. It was not too overwhelming at first, but after a few hours, the smell started bothering me with the package inside the house. I had to move them outside. These things are heavy duty, with a nice, thick steel plate. The pivot has a grease fitting to keep the casters spinning, but none for the wheel bearings. They should be sealed well enough to work, anyway. My only concern is how they will hold up over time in the sun, which is absolutely brutal here in West Texas. If i get a year or two out of these, I will be happy.

Over priced but great
I bought 2 of these about 4 years ago. They have withstood Texas winter snow, summer sizzle since then very well, no issues. They seem expensive, but the work great, I ordered 2 more because I wanted the wall in the picture to be movable by one person. Now it is.

Sturdy wheel, Easy to mount, Rolls as expected, Holds at least the rated pounds
The wheel was easy to mount on a 4 x 6 inch skid. I used something similar to lag screws, about 5/16 of an inch in diameter, to mount the plate(s). The mounting screws do not come with the product. A wooden porch that weighed an estimated 900 pounds was moved about 200 feet. Two wheels were screwed onto the bottom of 4" x 6" skids that were supporting the porch--mounted slightly forward from the midpoint of the skid. A tractor with forks was hitched to the porch for the pushing action. The wheels worked flawlessly. The wheels do not have air which relieves the user from having to pay attention to how much the tires are inflated. The wheels just never go flat and support the rated 500 pounds--and probably more. The surface was packed limestone. The wheels moved nicely along the limestone pack. The wheels would have trouble if the surface was loose gravel 3 or more inches thick. After moving the porch I removed the wheels for future use in building a rolling work table. The smell of the rubber tires was not an issue. I was using the product outside. There is a little smell of curing rubber which dissipates with the passage if time. These wheels are constructed properly, hold up properly, mount properly, and roll properly. I was impressed. High quality at an affordable price.
