Great toolbox mat.
Use this for drawers or top of tool cart. I noticed no massive smells.

versatile uses
perfect! i like the texture on these. i use them under my Ruffland kennels in my truck to keep them from sliding back and forth on my dunnage racks. even with them being ratcheted down, smooth plastic on smooth metal is bound to slide with time. the perfect level of grip-ness, just what i needed

Definitely multi-purpose
This mat is good for several uses. Currently, this is being used under one of our cat pans. It is easy to clean and has kept the pan from sliding around. The surface is rough enough that the litter is kept on the mat far better than any other method we have tried.

Nice matt for my workspace
Great addition to my workspace. Using it for build computers mainly. East to keep clean for my application. Lays flat from the get go. Does have a bit of an aroma but I use it only in my Garage. Great price and performance which is what I needed.

Used for a wooden handicap ramp and underneath a firewood rack
I used this to place on an indoor wooden handicap ramp to avoid people sliding/falling on the ramp when they walk up/down it. We did place another rug over it that we had there before which would slide occasional, but with this mat underneath it, there is not movement from either. I even tried stepping and intentionally cause it slide and it seems to be gripping well. I also bought another one as a floor mat for a firewood rack so it wouldn’t scrape the floor underneath it. Finally, I bought an extra in the event we get an ice storm. It’s light enough where my 80 y/o mother can throw it down over a part of the driveway that normally ices over, if she needs to get out. (Note: last part not yet tested).

A bit thin
It's ok, but it's thin. Not much like rubber. I wanted it to insulate a spot I stand on due to working with a machine, but not what I expected.
