Have several Anker products including these cables. Never had any problems except for the cables above. I actually bought two sets and the other set are working perfectly. Love the length of the cable and braided design and works well with my Mac goods. When I did have a problem, I contacted Anker Customer Service as the cables were not charging & very quickly I was sent a new set of cables which are working perfectly, like all my previous Anker cables. Delighted with my replacement cables, and with Sylvia in customer service who guided me through the process and kept me constantly updated. Very prompt replacement and arrival of my cables. Would recommend Anker products.

Over the last few years I have purchased a number of Anker products and found them to be well priced and of very good quality. Indeed the quality far exceeds that of the original items they replace. Everybody in the household has a couple of these 6 foot cables, along with Anker wall chargers. They do the job, charging our IPhones/IPads quickly. Recently I had call to buy a couple extra for extra convenience, so we could have a couple of chargers available in one room. Shock and horror, one of the cables stopped working after 1 month, totally unexpected from an Anker product. I needn’t have worried as Anker customer service we’re all over it like a rash and after trying a few ideas from them to ensure I wasn’t doing something wrong, a replacement was sent out which I received the following day. There were also a couple of follow up emails to ensure the replacement cable was functioning properly. From time to time items will fail but the measure of a company is how they respond when that happens. Anker Direct is a top company; they produce very good quality items and their customer service is second to none. If you need any accessories for your mobile phone, tablet or laptop, always check to see if Anker make them first, you won’t be disappointed.

Not sure if something funny is going on but Bluetooth froze phonecall twice in my car after cable rejected suddenly - works fine in plug in house so not sure why phone doesn’t like it - fingers crossed I’m just waiting on Apple update to see if that’s the fix - normally had good cables from anker so think it’s more Apple software issue? Will update :)

So I purchased this for my GF to use in her car as she always forgets her lead. It’s charges intermittently and the phone often has issues acknowledging the lead is plugged in. As with many reviews on here these cheap cables appear to be hit and miss. But cheap but twice or more. Probably better just buying an original cable.

If I don’t buy an original apple product I buy anker!! Love everything I have bought from Anker. I bought these for my husband and I. We got new cars that have the car share option on them but need to plug your phone in to use satnav. These work great. Nice and tidy, use the wee Velcro fastening to keep cable together.

These are the best chargers I have bought on Amazon. None of them has stopped charging and the first ones I bought were nearly a year ago. They even offered I suranné on these which is great. One word for them so far: reliable.

Anker is now my ‘go to’ when it comes to small electronic items and other such accessories. Reliable and good quality, as well as reasonable pricing. These cables are sturdy and fit perfectly in each socket; unlike some b-rate equipment you can purchase.

I have several excellent Anker chargers and cables so this was an automatic choice for the iphone charge cable we needed, sadly with this item the contacts were corroded and the casings loose, it was clearly not a new set of cables and not acceptable at such a premium price.
