I bought this for brewing beer having been using the airing cupboard before and this is a much better solution. Temperature stays at around 22 degrees which is ideal for the beer i brew. Great product.

What I found tricky was the difference between the temperature set, and the temperature at the moment. It wasn't very easy to tell, and the instructions are a bit rubbish. On the other hand I've used it for bread and kombucha and it's worked well.

Used this heat pad to make a recent batch of 20 litres of wine. Fits nicely under the 30 litre primary fermenter. Used in a relatively cool back room. It doesn’t come with a thermostat, but that was made clear in the advert. I turn it off if the day is warm and on at night or when it cools - works fine for me. Very happy with product so far.

tried this as another review said it worked well for proving dough and I've changed my boiler and the new one doesn't make the airing cupboard so warm. Sadly, the mat was too warm and started to dry my dough out so it wasn't as nice as usual as it didn't rise much either. The mat did get warm though so is probably great for fermenting
