It's a 5 why not, It's written by the best freaking author of Coding literature although it's not beginner friendly, it's more like intermediate for beginners the best and the most legendary python book is PYTHON CRASH COURSE BY ERIC MATTHES

Amazing book, the best part is all the chapters are categorised to 10 pages which allows one to study it effectively in a short span without losing track.Examples are well explained.Exercises have amazing mathematical problems invoking curiosity of the reader to research more about the topic.

This book is good for a quick recap, not very useful if you want to learn Python from scratch. Every topic has been touched upon, but it's not discussed in detail. The book might not be very useful as a beginner,but can be of help for future reference.

The author presents the topic in simple yet effective way. For someone with no technical skills this book will be useful for sure. There are other books in the market too and going for one book after checking reviews is always confusing.As for data science, this book provides no major help. Topics upto inheritance is covered which seem sufficient for beginners in any field that uses Python programming.
