Mine cracked, got very hot quickly, luckily I got it off before damaging the switch.Once new battery in all seems good, the two screwdrivers were perfect for the job as well

Relatively easy to fit but you do have to stick the battery into the console using the supplied double sided pad. Removal of the old glued battery is difficult and can potentially damage console if you are not careful. Picture shows the old battery and the sticker used to mount in the console.Charged to 100 percent for first charge inside about 15 hours. When running console on battery only it then dropped from 100 to 15 percent after 30 minutes, after a further 5 minutes it had dropped to 5 percent before console switched off.Reported to CS that it was faulty but they wanted me to return the, now stuck into the console, battery.Would not recommend at all

The Battery life has really improved after I installed it and most of the tools were really good to use,however the plastic spudger broke while I was using it,so it would be better to use a card

Firstly, and most importantly, please make sure this battery fits your particular Nintendo Switch, you will find the model number in the small white text on the back of your Nintendo, across the bottom of the machine.This pack contains everything you need but be warned this is not an easy job, it takes time, patience and a steady hand.I would advise you to watch a video before committing to changing the battery just so that you know what is involved. It’s not rocket science but it is tricky and can go wrong.Having said that, once you have committed and you get this battery into your machine, it does work well and I cannot see any difference between this and my original Switch battery when it was new.Recommended, just check what is involved before purchasing

Y00 screwdriver was either the wrong size or such poor quality that it could not unscrew screws on the back of the Switch. The Y0 worked ok.

This is a well thought out kit that has everything you need to complete the job and secure the battery afterwards.There are plenty of videos on YouTube which walk you through he whole process step by step and this kit has every tool I needed. It's really much easier than I expected and I would encourage people to give it a try.Battery life of my switch has near on doubled before needing to charge it again and I haven't noticed any overheating or issues that would concern me. Just make sure this battery is the correct one for your model because it does need to be the right size.
