I've been thinking of ditching my Cox Panoramic router ($16/mo) for some time and this weekend I just did it. I chose this modem/router because of reviews and ratings I read, both on Amazon and elsewhere. Some other brands had terrible ratings, most being cheaper, so I wanted to avoid those. It was more than I was going to spend, but you get what you pay for. The set up was easy, I just called Cox and the rep walked me through every step. She stayed on the line with me until I had both an ethernet and a wifi connection. Hat tip to them. This model covers 2,000 sq ft and our home is 1,900. My unit is approx. in the middle of the house. At first the Wi-Fi was much slower than with the Cox unit. I realized I had logged on to the 2.4 band rather than the 5.0 band. Once I logged on to 5.0 with all of our devices, the speed was very fast. I would highly recommend this. Very glad I got this one.

This router is a BEAST! My old router became out dated. After extensive research, I decided to purchase this particular router. YES, it does work with COX cable services! its upper tier high quality equipment, so its expensive! Primarily designed for HIGH speed service. My speeds jumped from 250 to 575. WOW! You can immediately see a difference in quality and speed. Excellent for general purpose, business, gaming and streaming movies...its a BEAST! I have found NOTHING bad to say about this router....its GOOD! Right out the box...a BEAST! Lastly, the picture of this product is deceptive, its not that big. Its approximately 10" inches tall. 7" inches wide (from the side). Hope this helps!

I read the all the great reviews. Purchased this based on the positive feedback. The good reviews are true. Range and speed are great. Reaching over 600 mps on 5G near the unit, and hitting 300 clear at the other end of the house. I’m only supposed to be getting 500 on our Spectrum plan. Have not achieved these speeds with any other router. Setup was easy. 15 minutes on the phone with Spectrum support had the modem activated — EZ-PZ.

I bought this as a replacement and upgrade to match my current internet speed. My prior router was not compatible with our current internet and overtime it wore down so when we switched to this instant improvement.The trial does not include the vpn which upsets me so if I want to use it I have to pay the extra 50 dollars or wait until my trial ends to see how much the armor plus will cost me. Im not even sure how I had been using proton vpn but proton does not work well with spectrum and I find myself disabling it a lot. Proton is also difficult to set up through this router so I finally caved and enabled the netgear armour trial.The reason why I am entering this review is because I wanted to explore the block site capabilities as a amateur tech saavy user and I find I can only enter so many keywords at a time. So copying and pasting a list of domains is not a possibility here... why?? In fact its like there is a certain limit to how many keywords you can enter at a time so even if I were to copy and paste five small web addresses I can't be sure what the standard format is. One address at a time or should I use commas? The user guide only shows one website. I guess I can look into the parental control features maybe there is a better way to block sites...If you are interested in block site capabilities this is what I found but I didnt see any reviews on its limitations when purchasing this router.

I recently realized I needed faster internet speeds for 4k streaming, work, gaming, etc so I upgraded to a faster plan with xfinity. However, I came to the realization that my current modem and router that I’ve had for years could not handle 1300 mbps.I searched for reliable modem routers and this one came up. So I said fine, let’s give it a try. And oh boy, this was an amazing decision. I experienced 9x more download speeds than my previous set up IMMEDIATELY. My ping is games are immaculate and I do not experience buffers with watching streaming services anymore.This was a great decision and I recommend you upgrade immediately to a good cable modem router in this day and age. It will save you a ton of headache!

I did read some bad reviews for this but decided to buy one anyway instead of paying monthly for xfinity owned modem.It turned out great. Setup was a breeze. Reached out to xfinity to confirm gateway connectivity after i sync up this model to xfinity. After spending 30 mins over xfinity chat, they confirmed and i confirmed the modem is working as intended. Been using it for over a month now and no issue so far.For those of have problems syncing up this modem to your cable provider, make sure youregister your modem with them first, check to make sure it is synced up to their gateway properly. Call them to confirm, sometimes the provider might need to re-register your modem and resync it to their network in order for your modem to work properly.Overall, its working as intended. Hoping this modem will last for 2+ yrs or better :)Will update at a later time
