Absorbs beautifully, super moisturising.
The media could not be loaded. The Image Ultra Defense Face Moisturiser with SPF 50 comes in a boxed plastic tube. The direction state to apply the sunscreen to the face, neck and exposed skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. To maintain protection, reapply at least every two hours or more frequently, especially after perspiring, swimming or towel drying. The sunscreen is fragrance free and absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaving it feeling super moisturised. It doesn't leave any residue, including the awful white residue that a lot of sunscreens leave on the skin. This makes it perfect for me to use on my face as a makeup base.I don't have sensitive skin, so this isn't something I personally need to consider when selecting skincare, but suffice to say I've not experienced any issues using the sunscreen.

Most expensive suncream we've tried
This is a 73g tube of SPF50 ultra defence moisturizer. It claims to be water resistant for 80 minutes, which is very useful/effective, especially during the holiday season. This is a relatively small tube and currently costs a whopping £62. Easily the most expensive suncream cream/moisturizer we've ever tried. It feels luxurious. It absorbs very well leaving no oily residue and spreads very nicely when being applied. The tube recommends reapplication at least every 2 hours and if you followed that this tube won't last long at all. If you're looking for value for money then you'll likely want to look elsewhere. However, if you want something that looks and feels luxurious then this could be for you.The scent is really great. It's difficult to place it but it has a bit of a fruity vibe, possibly an apricot iced bun is the best I can match it to. Very nice indeed. In terms of moisturiser it's as good as any we've tried. The best previous one was a moisturiser from Cinere, which was also fantastic but around half the price of this.On that basis it's difficult to justify 5 stars in view of the price as value for money is also a big factor for me.It's 4 stars from me. Product is absolutely fantastic, but at this price I can't justify a repeat purchase.

Excellent premium sun screen with no white cast
I hadn't heard of this brand prior to getting this and I'm impressed. Finding a good sun cream that doesn't leave me looking like a ghost (in Fitzpatrick scale 4 for reference) is a challenge. This one goes on great, leaves me with a glow.

Premium Daily SPF 50 Sunscreen, Ideal for Daily Use but Costly for Frequent Reapplication
This is a daily prevention broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen that arrived perfectly sealed in a 73g tube, indicating its premium quality. It's my first product from Image Skincare. The cream feels oily and looks shiny at first, but within a few seconds, it tends to absorb beautifully. The quality is superb and the price matches the quality. However, due to the relatively small quantity of the cream at such a premium price, I would only use a small amount when I can keep it on all day and not for swimming under the sun, where it should be reapplied several times a day to maintain protection. I would definitely opt for a cheaper yet still protective sunblock that can be used everywhere on the body. In that respect, I would find this cream too expensive if the aim is to use it every time you are under the scorching sun at the beach or anywhere else on a sunny holiday. It wouldn’t even last a week if I had to cover my neck, chest, and all exposed areas.I would use it instead as a daily high-protection moisturiser and I found it very gentle on the skin, really soothing and I haven’t experienced any issues at all.

Free radicals are linked to DNA damage. Free radicals are also linked to carcinogenicity, though studies on the specific carcinogenic potential of octocrylene are limited.
