I hadn't screwd the umbrella in properly it's OK now

Size of umbrella.
The Stand may not fit all umbrellas. We had to wedge our umbrella into the stand although we screwed it down it didn’t get any tighter fit.

Small plastic umbrella holder.
Overall a useful, small, effective umbrella stand. A drawback is that the plug on this product is not perfect and tends to become dislodged and fall out. This is not a huge problem as the water level needed to hold the umbrella is beneath the plug. My husband may add concrete to the water to make it permanent or another reviewer made their own plug. The stand is small enough to fit under a small patio table seating 4 people. We use it for a beach umbrella and it works very well for us. It is priced very reasonably.
