Love putting in a load of laundry before bed and waking up to finished dry clean clothes.
I bought LG first washer/dryer combo when it first came out 20 years ago. It finally started making noises in the water drain pump that i could have ordered and replaced but i saw this new model that the drum load size was literally double the size of mine and i would like to was bed comforters every now and then. Plus it had way more options including wifi control and i realky like the auto detergent dispenser as it uses the correct amount every time. It even has an over suds detector that notified me when my wife forgot about the auto detergent dispensing and out of habbit poured a cup of detergent into the tub with the laundry and started it up. The unit automatically did an extra rinse and warned me on the app so that i could remind her just put in laundry don’t add detergent. And then the app notified me on another time that the drain filter needed to be checked and sure enough there was a business card that got left in one of my shirts that got stuck in the filter. Neat that the washer knew there was something not working optimally on the washer. It also tracks how many washes have been done before notifying you it’s time for a tub clean cycle. And the drying cycle is way better than on my original machine. And the turbo wash is way quicker cycle than what my old machine had. My only regret is not buying this new model sooner. But my old model worked so well for so long i knew i wanted to get another one and this model is better in every way.

Just okay... I'd probably hold off.
So we're about two months in with this W/D combo - Honestly, we don't love it - it's not quite the dream we had hoped or thought at first. It generally does as advertised though. It has its obvious advantages but several times now loads have repeated wash and dry cycles lasting nearly 7 hours - and nobody knows why; the machine is not coding an error. Additionally, everything takes longer and the machine does not scream reliable out of the gate. It's not like the old W/D pair where you can keep them rolling and knock out the laundry - one machine - one load at a time. Time is not your friend with the combo unit and may not have been a great idea for our family size (4). I don't want to under value AI control option - is a huge plus! If you're intentional you can take advantage of wash cycles over night - but on the whole - I don't think the W/D combo technology is quite ready to meet the needs of the average family. I'd wait a little longer. The combo is a Good idea for sure, but they still have work to do to optimize load sizes and cycle times for families. I will say, for small spaces or places that don't accommodate traditional units - highly recommend.

So many issues for how expensive is, and doesn’t even work well
At the beginning to many shakes , and after a week the expert come to fix it , washing the clothes I notice that they didn’t smell good and the expert says that doesn’t take much liquids but it’s normal . Today I also notice that after more than 3h of the combo wash and dry I put extra dry time (it was about 2h and something ) and they are still wet . Another time washing also some jeans the process it was almost 8 hours. When you use the quick wash rins just a little Very disappointed specially because I want to return it but the make you wait for their answer Wich never comes‼️

This is a great washer/dryer
It uses about half the electricity of the traditional washer and dryer I had. The AI wash and dry makes doing many small loads efficient. There are some caveats though:1) it doesn't do well at all with oversized loads.2) It doesn't like dissimilar items. Towels mixed with clothes for example. In this case the towels wouldn't be as dry as the clothes. We just keep things a little separate and there's no problem.3) The lint trap needs careful cleaning. Reassemble it wrong and it will jam and possibly break when you next remove it.4) The wash/dry takes longer than a traditional washer and dryer, but you don't have to move clothes to the dryer, so it works out.I had a problem with the lint trap (see #3 above) and contacted support via Facebook. They were very responsive and had the parts on the way the next day, free of charge. Three days from broken to fixed. Can't beat that. All in all I'm very happy with this machine.

Lazy person Combo unit - Overall impressed
First of all this unit is heavier than most washer only units. It is definitely a bear to move around when installing but that is a minor nag. Lets do the Pros/Cons:Pros:-Unit is very quiet-Perfect for lazy people who leave the clothes in the washer (I shall name no names!)- Uses only a 110V outlet and is very efficient- Has a large capacity soap dispenser for multiple dispenses- Self contained heat pump system for drying (good and bad)Con-Self contained heat pump (The issue here is not really and issue but if you put this unit in a hot space like a garage it cannot utilize the heat in the room to heat the dryer)-Drying is SLOW-Lint can be an issue if you use a lot of detergent (I suggest a Ozone unit in tandem with this)Overall this is a good unit if you plan on washing and drying at night. If you need to process a bunch of loads at one time this can be a concern due to the high run times. If you plan on using the unit and hang drying on a consistent basis this unit would function great at multiple loads in a short period of time.

Great washer, terrible dryer
This product washes clothes very well and pretty quickly if all you're doing is washing them. If you plan on drying your clothes in this don't expect them to come out dry at all. Your best bet is to either get a separate dryer or if you have the space hang your clothes on a drying line after running them through the machines dry cycle. 8 dry cycles on the highest time setting was not enough to dry anything in it.

I'm still trying to figure it out
I'm still trying to figure it all out. Love it,and use it almost everyday. Takes less energy than my old washer!Only down side is that I have pets. Yes it catches a lot of lint. But the seal, outside gasket gets hair all over it. Don't take out the clothes until after I have cleaned it so that the hair doesn't get on the clothes.Just a bit more work but I still 💕 love it
