Nostalgic fun
Super fun to play! Very nostalgic. Took me a few minutes to get it all hooked up correctly, but the remote didn't have lag like many commented. This will be fun for my kids to experience and my husband and I to enjoy on an in home date night.I like that you can search for specific games and they're organized better than I thought. It even saves a history of what you've played so you can go back to them easier. Can't complain for the price.

Unplayable garbage. Complete waste of time/money.
I had low expectations going into this. Would have been happy with most games missing or even not loading as long as a few popular ones were enjoyable. Lo and behold, the entire system is just awful.Other reviews are correct. It’s not about tv adaptability, controller latency lag, or the games being poorly translated from Chinese. Those things are all very true unfortunately, but the reason I’m writing this is because the thing is just unplayable! They simply packed whatever they could onto a processor that can’t even handle the simple 8-bit games. Everything lags, and is very choppy. I don’t understand why a better processor isn’t used. They could charge over double if this worked properly. Possibly because with copyrights I’m not sure you’re even allowed to sell this. Please head this warning and save yourself the time and money. Extremely disappointing since all your favorite childhood games seem to be within reach, only to be letdown by how unplayable everything is

Pretty good, but with annoying interface
More games than you could play in a year. Resolution is OK - I'm not sure what some reviewers expected from upscaled retro games. I'm not a fan of the interface, but it gets better once you take some time to scroll through the tons of games and add some to your favorites. It also saves your game history, so you can quickly get back to one you played recently. It's redundant - the more popular games tend to have 12+ versions of seemingly the same game. They needed to do some culling. But if you're particular about playing a specific country's version, second release, that came out in a certain year, and had that one little unique detail about it... you'll find that here.

Actually impressed for the price
Every game I played worked fine except for graphics slightly glitchy on a PlayStation game. Only messed around with it for a little over an hour, but from what I can tell the picture and sound is pretty dang good. if you wanna play some old-school games, it’s totally worth it. You can’t beat the price. I am shocked at how many games it has. I have a really old LCD TV that it would not work with. It said something about not being compatible video source, then I hooked it up to a little bit newer LCD that’s probably six or seven years old and it worked fine . The controls showed no lag and connected right away. I’m able to back Out of the game by pressing select and start buttons together. it comes with a 64 gig SD card. I’m able to save games on it. I’m also able to make a favorites list so that I’m not searching all over. It is definitely worth the 40 bucks. I looked at several other consoles with a lot of mixed reviews and was a little fearful of taking a leap, but I’m glad I did. This one was on someone’s top 10 list on YouTube. That’s what made me choose it ,definitely not disappointed.

Not worth it!!!!!!!!
I wish I could give ZERO STARS.. the remotes will not sync whatsoever. When you finally turn your tv off and on about 28363873 times, one will FINALLY sync, and then, the whole system is IMPOSSIBLE to navigate. Not only that but, if you scroll too fast, it freezes and you have to repeat the process all over again (trying to get the controllers to work is a task in itself). PleaseDon’t waste your money. It’s a scam. It has only worked ONE time where we could play something. And no, we don’t have an older TV. We have a brand new 75”. We have also tried it on a tv that’s a couple/few years old. Still the same outcome.Don’t waste your money unless you want to be very very angry.

This is THE ONE! Money well spent!
I can't understand why some people have been so hypercritical of this game stick. Maybe they just had an incompatible TV? I'm playing this on a 50in Visio I bought second hand 5 years ago, and it works GREAT. This is the best $40 I've spent in a long time. I can't believe I have ALL of my old favorites in one place now. I've tried a few games so far and they all play and look the same as I remember. I'm playing Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past right now. It looks and sounds exactly the same, and the gameplay works perfectly. The controller works perfectly. There's a bunch of Zelda games I haven't played on here based on Link To The Past graphics, like The Minish Cap, and Four Seasons, that I've never even played before so I'm gunna be a happy camper while I'm healing from major surgery in 5 days!
