Legit Tripod
Very good tripod! I was a bit hesitant about tripods after watching so many videos about price points. I've used the tripod a few times now, and it feels sturdy, light, and well-made. The components seem well crafted and its worked great.

Good+ tripod
Really impressed with this tripod. Especially considering the price. Very light, very sturdy even with a Sony 200-600 in use. Ball head is fine. Very happy with this purchase.

Not bad, but has a few quirks
Good and not-so-good points. Good: Carbon Fibre as promised, so very light. Very small and compact. Great for travel and packing. Feet are replaceable. Lever locks are sturdy and work well. Good: Sufficiently tall without centre column extended due to 4-section legs. Not-so-good: Due to 4-section leg components, those sections are quite thin so stability is a bit wobbly. Not-so-good: Has a completely non-standard (ball) head that tilts only 15 degrees. Good: Non-standard head can be removed and replaced with an included adapter that takes a standard ball head (1/4" or 3/8" screw). Not-so-good: Non-standard ball head can't be used anywhere else as it's severely non-standard and will fit only onto this tripod. Not-so-good: Center column can't be easily reversed for low angle shots. Good: Most of the center column can be unscrewed and removed so that some sort of low angle shots are possible by angling out the legs significantly. Not-so-good: One leg does not detach for a monopod option. So, no monopod option here. All in all, about 4 stars and a good option if compact traveling is the primary objective.

Very good.
Very nice. I thought it would be tedious to deal with the four locks on each leg, but it's not that bad. Seems stable enough for a standard DSLR or mirrorless. I bought for travel but that hasn't happened yet, but it should work very well for that.

Very Satisfied (so far)
I just received this tripod and haven't really had a chance to use it yet, and I'll update this review if I change my mind, but I couldn't be much more satisfied right now. This tripod is compact and lightweight, but seems very well made, sturdy and stable. It also comes with a nice zippered carrying case into which the tripod fits with no hassle. Even though its compacted length is less than 17", it extends to 62" and is still rock solid.I only needed a new tripod because I misplaced the QR plate for my Geekoto video tripod and was unable to find a new one. When I contacted Geekoto about getting a replacement, they told me that this was a discontinued special order item and that they didn't carry a replacement QR plate for it and couldn't get one.I never really liked that tripod anyway, but it was expensive and it really irritated me that it was now useless. What I didn't like most about the Geekoto was that you had to invert the center post of the tripod in order to fit it inside the case that came with it. What a pain for someone who uses their tripod while traveling all over the US and Canada in a motorhome!Of course, I found the Geekoto's QR plate after this one arrived. It was attached to my telephoto zoom lens that I pulled out to see how well it works with the Neewer. (It work just fine even though that lens is heavier than the tripod!).The bottom line is that this tripod will be my travel companion and the Geekoto tripod will sit home in the closet, unused. Anybody need a video tripod (with one QR plate)?

Great combination of features
I probably own too many tripods, but I'm consistently on the hunt for the 'ideal' tripod.I started out with the Peak Design tripod -- although, I opted for the alumnium version. I'm pretty heavily invested in Peak Design hardware and have a lot of their mounts so finding something that is compatible with a Peak Design mount is a requirement. The Peak Design is great from a compactness standpoint, and the rotating ball head and control is great. However, I wasn't willing to pay the $$$ for the carbon fiber, and one of the biggest critiques of the Peak Design approach is that there's no pan mode.Next, I picked up a Ulanzi Zero Y -- this one is carbon fiber, offers a pan capability, has a similar profile to the Peak Design, so it's super portable. It does work with the peak design mount, but it only locks the plate in place on one axis, so if you aren't careful, the camera could theoretically slip out or come loose in the mount along the non-secured axis. There are lots of ways to compensate for this, but when you have a nice camera and lens on the tripod, it's something you should not have to worry about. The mount on this is also not a quick release so it relies on the screw for tension. On the plus side, it offers many of the same capabilities as the Peak Design tripod along with mount points for accessories, AND, you can pan with it.So, why buy the Neewer? Well, for one, the price is exceptional. Neewer comes in cheaper than both Ulanzi and Peak Design by a long margin. The quality of build is great - the clips on the leg are made of metal (far better than the plastic clips that break over time with usage). The Neewer comes with a quick mount that works really well with the Peak Design mount, albeit, with some limitations. The quick release is super secure and motion is restricted in all directions. The one downside is that the mount will not necessarily work with other arca style mounts that can have a wider footprint. This is not an issue for me, but just something to call out. The ballhead stem is also slightly different than the other manufacturers. Neewer's stem is round -- the advantage of that is you can actually pan the camera by just loosening the stem lock (although the stem can't be extended when doing this). It was a nice 'feature' to discover.Other than that, the Neewer checks all the boxes -- the carbon fiber material reduces the weight, it has the quick mount, it has the quick positioning ball head, has accessory mount points and much more!

Good tripod, bad head.
Great tripod the legs are sturdy, the adjustment is easy and it’s lightweight. The head is good but the attachment from the camera to the head is junk. I had a camera fall off because it’s very hard to tell if it’s inside attached or not. If they could fix the quick release, it would be a way better piece of gear. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything other than an iPhone.

Get it!
Excellent product, solid Tripod. really like the design that’s what sold it for me. But overall it nice handles the job well it’s not flimsy even though I have a low weight setup.
