I have GVM Square Lights and these neewer covers fit great on my lights. The light was harsh on my face; the light shadow cover box has help me a lot in filtering the light so it wouldn’t be harsh. I keep the cover on my lights and I use it all the time for my filming. It works as described and it’s definitely one of my filming essentials.

Mostly I am all for these softboxes. They do their job perfectly. I do wish they strapped on and off a little easier but I do understand that with the light design the way it is that can be tricky. Not sure I could do better. I wish the price was a touch lower but the quality is on point so I can’t complain.

Bright and modern look diffuser. It does everything promised. This item has good value for the money and is made of quality material. I recommend this item.

doesnt come with light

I wasn't sure this Neewer softbox would fit my Neewer panel light (it wasn't the recommended model), but I took a chance, and I'm glad I did! It fits perfectly! The light diffusion is fantastic, and I like that it included the grid for even more light control. Setting it up and taking it down is simple, which is a plus when I'm working on location. The only complaint I have is that mine arrived missing a strap that is used to secure it to the light panel, however, this seems like an isolated manufacturing issue, as everything else is top-notch. Despite the missing strap, I'm giving this softbox 5 stars. It lives up to its promise of providing soft, controlled light.

This fits the RGB1200 LED light, which doesn't come with a softbox. I had wished that they made a softbox for it, and now they do! I snapped this up as soon as I saw it. The grid, for me anyway, is likely never going to be used. I prefer to just soften the light.The build quality is quite good, with good attachment to the light. It feels like it will last a long time if taken care of. Overall, this is another great product from Neewer!

This does a great job of diffusing light. Immediately noticed the difference when aiming the light panels at a subject. But, there are some issues.First, the black lattice feels highly fragile. Super thing plastic-type material that feels like it might snap if I accidentally pull it a little too hard. This is unnerving because it requires intense stretching to wrap the light completely.Next, the entire system is supposed to be easy to install/remove, but it's indeed not that easy. Not a massive issue if you intend on putting it on and then not dismantling it again. If you need to put it on and remove it constantly, I anticipate much time wasted in getting it on correctly and damaging it sooner than expected.Overall, it definitely does the job when it's on. But it's a bit inconvenient and fragile.

Besides diffuser panels you don’t see a lot of modifiers for LED panel whites. So I was quite enthusiastic about giving this a try. The first thing you’ll notice is the pool quality. This thing is very heavy and very solid although it folds quite flat for easy storage. It has a nice internal reflective material and the way it attaches around the panel white I think it would work for just about any panel white, not just the NEEWER one that it is made for .Once you attach it in mountain around the light which is not really instantaneous but it’s less trouble than assembling an umbrella or an octagonal soft box then you’re ready to put on the diffusers and the honeycomb. The diffuser is not very substantial but that’s because they don’t wanted to block out too much of the white so it is a very almost tissue thin cloth panel that goes across the front. I wish the honeycomb was a little bit more substantial it’s a little difficult to get on exactly right. But I figure with practice it’ll go quicker. All in all it’s a high-quality item that is very useful for expanding the functions of panel lighting.The installation doesn’t interfere with the controls or ventilation of the panel lighting. You might have to fiddle with the barn doors or remove them to get it to fit right. All in all I’m very pleased.
