Love this case. It’s not bulky like so many phone cases. Part of the allure of phones is the slim look and feel, and this case ensures you still get that satisfaction. The stand is well-placed, attractive, and functional. I set it up to follow my favorite sports and shows when there’s no tv around and it works great - not wobbly at all. The case fits securely overall, is sleek, and doesn’t let dust or dirt in. Couldn’t be more pleased.

After spending a few hours reading case reviews I settled on the clear black case for my black iphone16. Not only is this case affordable but it’s unique in the way the stand is hidden in the camera guard. It doesn’t feel too heavy but offers good daily protection. I saw some people say the low angle of the phone stand when in portrait mode was a downside but for me that was exactly what I wanted. It sits just right to use your phone while propped up on a table. The stand also feels sturdy and durable. 5 stars!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The ESR iPhone kickstand case is a absolute game-changer! The built-in kickstand is sturdy and positioned for both vertical and horizontal viewing. The case itself feels durable, providing excellent protection without adding too much bulk. It’s sleek, functional, and super convenient camera control works flawlessly— it’s the perfect case, Highly recommend!

Let’s begin with why -1 star: Mostly it is due to unknown factors and yet to find out (hopefully never to find out)1. Is the plastic non- yellowing after being used for awhile?2. Is the kickstand durable with repeated use as a stand? Or with accidental over extension?3. Drop factors and damages thereafter?4. Scratch resistant?I’m reviewing the product during its first hour post arrival and I will be updating this review as time goes by.Here is what I like about this case:1. Simplicity and the thickness!2. Functionality and overall protection even covered the camera control buttons. And it is as advertised, camera control is still working perfectly.3. Saved you the trouble of buying kickstand /camera guard for the case.4. Strap hole on the side in case if you want to place a strap or charm on the case.5. Strong magnet! It is even stronger than the Apple case, or OtterBox’s case. Yes I have both. If you prefer to have a stronger magnet then choose this one!6. While using camera guard as a kickstand in vertical position, it is almost perpendicular to the table surface. Yet this position still keeps the phone very stable and safe.What I think ESR can improve on:1. More color or print selections.2. If camera guard is being used as a kickstand, the height of the inner protective frame is slightly lower than the height of the camera itself. Lets say an incident occurs while the camera guard got smacked flat or break then the camera lens will hit the table first ( assuming a flat surface). How do I know this is possible? Because I actually ran a ruler over the surface while camera guard is opened to its side. Please see photos attached. With camera guard on as a guard the ruler will not touch the surface of the lens. But when camera guard is used as a kickstand then the ruler actually get caught by the lens first. Although the design of the camera guard will not pass a certain angle, but if something heavy falls on your phone while you are watching YouTube or something and your phone gets pancaked (camera guard gets broken or flattened) then the potential of the lens touch the surface of the table is very likely. Even if just raising 1 mm of the inner lining of it would be better.

The short and sweet: ESR knocked it our of the park with this one. If you want a kickstand case but dislike traditional kickstands, this is absolutely the way to go. You won’t regret spending your money on this one, I can guarantee it.I’ve come to expect great products when ordering from ESR, and I haven’t been let down yet. I’ve ordered numerous screen protectors for different devices I own, and they fit great with no issues whatsoever, and not only due to tend to get multiple screen protectors for a lower price than some companies that have been around for a while, the included guide makes it practically fail proof to get a flawless application. I then ordered my ESR Car Mount which utilizes their Halo Lock for MagSafe cases or equipped phones, and that mount is beyond sturdy; hasn’t moved on me once.Now, I just got the black variant of their Halo Lock MagSafe Case for my 14 Pro Max, and this thing exceeded my expectations. I like propping up my phone, and I hate traditional kickstands. I have a Pop Socket which uses a very thin magnetic plate so I can remove it whenever I need to (like in the car attached to ESR’s mount), but the viewing angle just isn’t great, and if it’s on a softer surface, like a couch armrest, it just kind of falls over; not ideal. This case rectified that and then some.Not only does the integrated kickstand rectify that shortcoming of the Pop Socket, but you can deploy both for added stability if it were necessary (it’s not). It’s nice though because I could NEVER prop my phone up in portrait fashion, whereas now I can, and you don’t have to stow the Pop Socket, as when it’s extended, it still doesn’t touch the surface it’s sitting on, and when you go to grab it, the Pop Socket is already deployed and ready to use. I honestly couldn’t be happier. The case not only looks great, but the added corner bumpers are barely visible, but enough to help in the event of a drop, and something I didn’t notice are the corners on the from side protrude just enough to where your screen will be completely protected, but subtle enough to where you never notice them unless you’re looking for them.Lastly, the kickstand itself. I absolutely love it, but I honestly worry about longevity, and I’m talking longer than a year. The kickstand it VERY sturdy. I mean, when you open it, it takes some really effort (in a good way), and it’s got some nice friction, but from what I can tell, it’s a simple hinge I can see wearing over time, especially if you’re using it daily. The nice part is it snaps into place when it’s closed, but once you open it, there’s nothing locking it into positions, it’s simple friction, so if it were to really begin wearing down, I worry I may go to prop the phone up and it’ll just drop shut. I honestly don't foresee this happening any time soon, just something to keep in the back of your mind should you buy it. Either way I think it’s a great purchase worth its weight in gold. I’d buy another on in a heartbeat if I ever needed to!

The case fits my iPhone 16 Plus great. It is screen protector friendly, and all the cutouts are well placed. The camera button works well and is protected. The case looks good, is smooth but not slick so it doesn't slip out of my hand or my pocket. I've only had it for a day so I can't speak to how well it protects the phone if dropped.
