They sent out a newer model of the humidifier and have been checking in to make sure its working well.OLD: Not quiet at all, I can hear the motor as well as a high pitched whirr. Doesn't leak, so could be a good design. Auto shut off does not work - I had it set to go off after 2 hours and it is almost 5 hours later. Very small and easy to set up but doesn't work very well in the sense that I can't see or feel anything coming out of it unless I'm quite literally on top it and even then I can't see it, only feel it. I've had it on 5 hours in this video and in the photo you can see it has barely used any water. Excuse my voice in the video, I'm sick and was hoping this little humidifier would help.

I must not know how to clean these but I did throw it away only because this pink stuff was in it. I tried doing vinegar and it didn't really come out. Probably would have if I scrubbed it.. the main reason I tossed it is because where the mist comes out was really really gross and I couldn't really clean it. This all could probably have been prevented if I used maybe better water and let it air dry more but other wise I think it's nice. I love the color options my kids used it all the time as a night light. You can adjust the amout of mist or steam to come out.

Ordered it about a year ago so I gave it some time and I'm not that impressed by it. It does its job but it's very tedious to clean. Quality could be better

The output of humidity isn’t even enough for a small plant, and definitely not a small room. Maybe I got a defective one, but I’m not playing exchanges on something that should work as advertised.Update: I left it running overnight. By morning it was letting out a substantial amount of humidity. Maybe it needed to run a full cycle? Anyway I left in the morning and came back early afternoon, left it on, and it’s nearing the end of water and still putting out a substantial amount of humidity. Be patient with it I guess.

After owning one of these for a month I bought two more. I use reverse osmosis water, like you might get at a big box store water machine. After 3 months of it running all night long, it still looked clean but it seemed to have a slight film. All I had to do to clean it was to wipe it out with a paper towel. This has two levels of mist, and on the lower setting it runs for at least 12 hours and it's pretty dry here in the winter. If you use this in a bedroom and you don't want the color light effect, there is a bedtime mode that turns off the light and turns the mist to the lower setting. It shuts itself off off it runs out of water. I refill it while it is still running. I just pop the top off and pour in more water. This holds half a gallon of water. I would enjoy having a gallon size if all the features were the same. It has a 3 year warranty, and a couple of accessories, including a replacement part that helps make the mist. I don't see the original one wearing out if I keep using filtered water. There is a timer function that I only tried once and it worked well.

It works great. Easy to fill runs almost all day on low. It's not that loud to me(I also keep a air purifier running as well). It's held up since I bought no issues with that. The only problem I have is cleaning. You can tell when it needs cleaning when you refill it and there's a slimy yellow film on the bottom and I don't use any scents in mine. I also find that there's weird pink stuff in the lid as well. It's not pleasant and the lid doesn't come apart to clean in it. You may need some type of pipe cleaner to clean the top piece. The design is pretty simplest although y the plug is on the bottom of the device and not the side so it can be a bit difficult to plug in the appliance when it's filled.

Update Jan 15: I was contacted by the manufacturer and they shipped me a replacement. It works great and support was very kind! I like the new humidifier a lot! Thanks for checking reviews and making it right with customers! Much appreciated.Initial review: After using the humidifier for just a few days, the units lights turn on, but won’t output any mist. Tried unplugging and letting it sit, dried out, but the mist and timer portion are seemingly dead. Based on other recent reviews I think the manufacturer is sending out defective units. Beware.

Edited. Replacement was sent it is working great!Was a great product, but it only lasted last then a year. The motor is making extremely loud noise for a good 5-10 minutes then stops.
