Was exactly what I wanted, but turned out it was the motor that was dying, so the beater didn't help me out. Looking for a replacement motor now.

This is great, my old roller had a frozen bearing, melted plastic, made a horrific noise when using it. Lots of hair caught up and seized the bearing. I tried several times pulling out each ball bearing and polishing it and coating it with grease and then repacking it hoping it would work again. I have been doing this for several years now with no success (the house was starting to get messy with no vacuum to clean with). Finally one day, I had a though...check Amazon, maybe they have a new roller and BAM....there it is and now here it is and I can once again use my vacuum cleaner!! Thank you vacuum roller seller!!

Our Rainbow vac powerhead stopped working, this replacement fit perfect and works great. also replaced belt.
