The Confectioners Sugar substitute by Swerve is definitely high quality.Everything from the appearance to the texture is indistinguishable from “the real thing.”It’s not super cheap, but it seems like that’s the norm if you’re trying to make some healthier choices. And no doubt, cutting out sugar has some health benefits. Including the fact that by using this in place of regular sugar, you can decrease your caloric intake.I also find that when I’m making coffee drinks with this and eating better, I don’t have the cravings for/or even miss real sugar.It’s actually the opposite. Once I get used to eating a higher protein, lower calorie diet, I find that most prepackaged or “junk” food tastes far too sweet.I haven’t baked with this product but I would, without any fears.And the ingredients are far better than the ones in those pink packet sweeteners!I’m impressed with Swerve. Looks, smells and tastes just like brown sugar. Used it for baking banana bread (I substituted a portion of the required sugar), which turned out great. The only slight drawback is the price, but then again, us diabetics are kinda used to the sugar free premiums on groceries.

This sweetener works well and doesn’t have the aftertaste of many artificial sweeteners. It is also easy to use because it measures the same as regular sugar which makes it easy to substitute into my regular recipes.
