Works well, nice paper, decent cover without being too bulky to pocket carry. I use mine in a nice canvass Hide and Drink cover and it is perfect for a quick note when I don't want to carry my larger bullet journal.

The Field Notebook / Pocket Journal is an excellent product. For those who still write notes and ideas down on paper with a pen, it is a very useful product to have in your pocket.

These books fit in my shirt pocket which is convenient. I like the lined pages. One book lasts me for a year for what I need. I keep daily blood pressure readings, weekly weight, doses taken of some medicines, telephone numbers (no I really don't use my cell phone for that :-) and any notes I quickly jot down to remember later.The only real negative is that about 6 months into the year, the cover begins to break down, especially in the center where the pages are stapled. I'd like a plastic cover that would not deteriorate with exposure to sweat and constant use.

These field books are pretty good just a little pricey

Well, the first notebook in the pack stood up to the rigors of being carried every day for two months in my back pocket very well. Aside from a few scratches on the cover and it slowly conforming to the curvature of my backside, no issues.But what you want to know is: can it survive being dropped in a toilet?Yes, surprisingly well, actually. It floats, too, at least long enough to throw out a few curse words before fishing it out. The whole thing dried in about two hours, without much damage.What it won't survive is accidentally running it through the washer and dryer the same evening. I don't even know where the notebook is. I know where parts of it are - all over my clothes - but for the most part it just looks like it got Thanos-snapped out of existence.So, treat them with a little care, and they should last you awhile. Otherwise, invest in a lint roller and prepare to clean your dryer filter.

I use these to leave notes in all my geocaches. They're pretty sturdy and have waterproof (let's say "water resistant") paper. I buy them regularly

These mini notepads are great for notes, making list or simply something you would like to remember. You can jot down a note and tuck it and your back pocket. It rugged enough to take the wear on taking it in and out pocket without falling. They're multiple colors to choose from whether black is your color to bright orange. And they come in pack of 5's.
