Highly Recommend
I am not sure what I expected from a 3D printed splitter, but I needed something to feed two cats in separate bowls. Surprisingly, manufacturers of the WiFi app enabled feeders appear to have totally forgotten about multi-cat households. Or maybe they want to sell multiple feeders? Anyways, I thought I would give this a try before splurging on a second feeder.Wow - this is absolutely perfect! It is a fantastic little gadget that snapped on securely in seconds. It works like a charm, matches the design of the feeder and really looks like it came with the original feeder. From other reviews I was worried about getting the two bowls to stay put under the splitter, but they fit pretty snuggly under the dispensers and move very little. So that halo thing and bowl that came with the feeder are not even needed. If the Precision 3D Prints folks read this, your next design could be for a single piece splitter and bowls that fits into the original halo slot. I would pay extra for that - even test your prototypes for you!One cat was a little finicky for all of two feedings before he got used to food coming his way without his having to herd me first. One is on a diet so feedings are smaller portions throughout the day. I may have needed a reminder from time to time, but no more thanks to this winning combination from PetSafe and Precision 3D Prints.Looking forward to quiet, happy, well-fed kitties.

Excellent custom fitted solution to a multi-cat problem
The media could not be loaded. The PetSafe auto-feeder is a great way to take some of the feeding pressure off of you. However, it is kind of spendy so the idea of buying more than one to accommodate a household with more than one cat seems like a lot. My cats are not good at taking turns, so I figured there had to be a way to split the food stream. And sure enough someone already thought of this and 3D printed a great splitter! This this is perfect. The fit on the machine is flawless and is secured where the bigger bowl part that comes with the feeder would normally go. The splitter fits snugly onto the opening where the food is dispensed so that no spare kibbles get loose. The food distribution is fairly even. The color even looks nice with the feeder! I found that my cats needed a little more space so I opted for the option where the food is dispensed 180 degrees apart. I don't think that version is sold on Amazon, but if you contact the seller they will hook you up. $30 well spent!

Excellent customer service
When I initially purchased this splitter I found that the two chutes were too close together (I have one cat that will hog the entire portion of food). I emailed Jacob at Precision 3D Prints to see if I could exchange my two way splitter for a three way splitter. I had seen another reviewer who had the same problem as me order a three way splitter and block the middle chute in order to have the food deliver at right angles from the machine. Jacob replied immediately and actually designed a 180 degree splitter adapter for me and sent it out within 2 days.Needless to say I am extremely impressed with the customer service and would happily recommend this to anyone. Jacob seems very willing to work with your individual needs to design a splitter that works for you and your cats (or dogs)!I don't have my splitter feed into two bowls as I found that the clanging of the food into the bowl upset one of my cats. Instead I bought a silicone mat with rubber lips and placed that immediately underneath the splitter. The cats go to either corner of this mat and eat there. I find this helps them eat a bit more slowly too.

Great start for two cat feeding—additional parts needed for perfection though
Nicely made, fits perfectly. Looks good. A bit spendy—but not when considering you’re putting it onto a truly overpriced feeder—lol. This is my second attempt at feeding two lovely cats that are perfectly happy to hedge each other out or steal each other’s food. The first attempt a few years back involved two identical self feeders with timers and limited storage. Timers never synced well enough to not cause minor panicked, cat-astrophes and the units broke in short order anyway. The splitter does it’s job—but it’s only a start.I found I had to take the splitter with me to the pet store to find a twin bowl stand just the right size so it would get trapped and held in place by the feed tubes—otherwise the cats continue searching for kibble and bat the bowls out of alignment leading to kibble jackpot all over the floor...Additionally, my cats would not necessarily cue up neatly in front of two bowls placed under the splitter...one cat might “inadvertently” block the second bowl with their body if it stood sideways to the unit; leaving their litter mate bewildered with no access to the food.I designed a prototype fin out of cardboard (eventually I’ll use the maker space at work to cut some final parts) . It comes up from in between the dual bowls to make a partition between the two bowls. The base of this fin nests around the base of the bowls and keeps everything aligned.Everything is working great now.The splitter is a great first step—but I would suggest that the maker of this part take it to the next level and offer a printed fin or even better a fin integrated with a dual bowl holder for standard stainless steel bowls. One star off this solid product—mainly because it’s not a complete solution.
