Great for my kid with trichotillomania
My kiddo has a body-focused repetitive behavior called trichotillomania. She pulls her hair out without even realizing she is doing it. She's a little old for a toy like this (13), but it's a great thing for her to hold and fiddle with while she's doing activities where she tends to pull hair, like reading. It does make a little bit of a mess, but the idea is for the stuffing to go into the pouch the toy is packaged in. I can see where littler kids might have a harder time getting it where it needs to go! Putting a bowl or bag nearby might help. It's also fun to strategically not pull some of the fur to make designs in the fur (kind of like reverse tattoos!).

The next big toy craze!
If you want to keep your kids busy for a while, this is the right toy for you!I bought one for my 6 year old boy and he wasn’t really sure what to do with it at first but once I showed him, he picked it up right away and started plucking away!He was hooked and fixated on it, trying to see what the secret character was underneath the first fur layer. It’s not too messy as long as you keep all the plucked fur into its convenient clear pouch/container it came with. I love that 2 in 1 feature! My son played with it for a good hour! And he loved it, the axolotl is his favorite character but he’s on the hunt for the multi colored panda. This will definitely be a hit for the coming holidays, so stock up now. I definitely recommend it

11 yr old loved
My 11 year old daughter loved this thing. This is so good for kids with sensory. She was 100% entertained and she said it felt so satisfying to play with it. Good gift good value!

Fluffie Stuffiez: A Parent's Nightmare, a Child's Delight (and a Cleaning Crew's Bane)
"Beware, parents! Approach Fluffie Stuffiez with caution! These adorable creatures, while undeniably cute, are insidious infiltrators of chaos. Their fluffy innards, oh, those fluffy innards! They erupt like a miniature Krakatoa, spreading their fluffiness across the land like a fluffy plague. My once pristine home now resembles a post-apocalyptic landscape, a wasteland of fluff. The joy my child experiences with these… abominations… is undeniable. But the price? The constant, soul-crushing battle against the fluff! It's a war I fear I may never win.If you value your sanity, your carpets, and your sanity, steer clear of Fluffie Stuffiez. Consider this your warning. And if any parent dares to praise these fluff-spewing menaces, know this: they are not your friend. They are the enemy.P.S. If you find yourself knee-deep in fluff, I offer my condolences and a silent prayer for your sanity."

Messy but fun
My son wanted one of these forever. He was very excited to get one of these. But I had to finish pulling the stuff for him at it is very hard to do. It is very messing and sticks to everything. But the included bag was perfect to put it all in.

Fun for adults too
I, an adult who likes fidget toys, got this for myself, and it was fun. Not a new favorite or anything, which is just as well since it's a one-time thing. The pluckable fur is not super soft, but the actual fur underneath is. The gills and tail of the axolotl, however, are scratchy material. The packaging is designed so that you can stuff it with the plucked fur, and once full, it's very satisfying to stick your hand in and just swirl it. (It'sBe aware that the plucked fur is staticky and messy (big surprise, right?). Also, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the actual stuffie is quite firm. It doesn't seem very huggable to me.The last few hairs of mine were hard to get--especially two or three that were sewn into seams. Detail-orientated kids might get frustrated with that.

This is a silly toy!
If I would have known what this toy does, I would not have bought it. You pull the pink fuzz off of the Axolotl to find a teal colored one underneath. There was pink fuzz on the dining room table and on the floor when my granddaughter was doing it. She pulled and pulled the fuzz for about 20 minutes and only uncovered the face of the one under neath (????). She took it home but I feared that her dog, German Short haired Pointer (young dog) would get a hold of it and try to chew it. It would probably cause a huge vet bill. Not to mention, the pink fuzz that gets pulled out to find the teal one underneath is a MESS!!!!!. I don't get the point of this toy....stupid. It is made in China. I would not recommend it for small children...any children and especially don't let your pet get a hold of it. It was a waste of $15!

We love this!!
The media could not be loaded. My ten year old bought this with her own money and I was nervous because of bad reviews I’ve seen… but she loves it and so do I! It’s fun and a little relaxing to pick the hair, and if you only pick tiny amounts at a time it comes out so easily! Her 6 year old sister is also helping her with it and having the greatest time! If you put the fuzz directly into the package after pulling it out it doesn’t get everywhere. She’s been picking at it for half an hour or so and is half way done. We love it!
