This Powered USB Hub by VEMONT is fantastic value for money. It's a nice design and seems to be made from premium materials.I bought a new laptop which only has two USB ports. This seems to be a bit of a trend nowadays which is a pain as more and more electronic devices are powered by USB. I chose this model as all the ports are USB 3. This makes a big difference as USB 3 is 10X faster than USB 2.0 with compatible devices. The ports are backward compatible to USB 1. Each of the ports has a separate switch with an illuminated blue light that light up when in use and turned on.The power cable is a generous 1.2 metres. This doesn't have to be utilised unless power is needed. It also has a separate USB power socket ideal for charging a phone. The 5V/3A socket can provide charging power up to 2.4A. My iPhone charges from 20% to 100% in just over an hour.All in all a good looking, well functioning USB hub at a very affordable price.

I am very pleased with my item its cost effective and works great with individually switched USB ports with blue LED lights so you know exactly which port your working with having the added bonus of 1 USB smart charging port with a 5V/3A power supply perfect clutter free device, great for protecting your USB ports on your laptop or desk-top, after communicating with the company I could clearly see they are an honest sincere company that really stands behind it's products, so if your in the market for an upgrade this is the item to have, don't go anywhere else.

Great how you leave ports active unlike some that don't stay active when switched off and back on

Plugged it in as per the instructions and found I couldn't use my computer, see photo. This alert came up and no matter what I did I couldn't get passed it, it even had my computer whizz son stumped. So I thought about it and realised the last thing I did was plug this item in. I unplugged it and hey presto! I got my computer back. I've told the seller and now I'm returning for a refund. I think I'll stick to cheaper Chinese items as I've never had a problem with them over the years (decades).

I bought this as everything seems to need a usb charger these days, and I'm running out of plugs.This has been super useful as we can charge several devices at the same time from one outlet.I really like the fact that each socket has it's own on/off switch and an indicator light.All the ports work well, and everything I've plugged in has charged quickly/normally.It's also been useful to connect additional devices to my laptop which only has two usb portsI'm really pleased with it
