I’m a Left handed tile setter and I acclimated to the metric system for my work 20 yrs ago. Never could find a L/H metric/imperial before this one. This tape is no big name, fancy pants tool, it’s relatively cheep but works excellently. I bought 3 a few years ago, expecting to get a couple months out of each. I get thinset on them, drop them, bend them around corners. The worst damage is one got rusted and is not as easy to read anymore. I came to order a couple more. Well worth the 20 bucks vs 35 to 50 for big name brands …. One of my most favorite tools.Sandra's husband.

Love this tape! I've spent most of my life standing upside down to read measuring tapes. Now, finally, able to read one like normal people. What a pleasure. Can't wait for a right handed person to ask to use a measuring tape and watch them try to read this one! Ha! Seems like good quality, easy to use and read. Never realized these existed, what a treat!

Iʼm right‐handed but figured this measuring tape would serve me in some scenarios, such as measuring from a corner to my right, and so I added it to my to‐buy list. Then I broke my right wrist! During my convalescence this product has proven invaluable—very easy to use with my nondominant hand. Iʼm sure it will remain a useful addition to my toolbox when my right has returned to full strength and dexterity.

Astounding concept for all the "Right-handers" out there: now you can actually MARK with your dominant hand! I am constantly having to read numbers and divisions upside down on regular tapes—WRONG-O! And I am not about to try marking with my left hand—just not going to happen.Case is perhaps a little flimsy, but the tape itself! AH, now THAT is where this unit shines. I may try to adapt the tape into a self-locking tape case, as that would be more convenient than the slide-to-lock button on the device.For some people that measure almost exclusively in Inches, it would be more convenient to have the inch-scale on the bottom, but personally, I find myself using the metric-side for just about everything. If I am off by a millimeter 'tis no big thing, ±1mm in three meters (±10 ft) is acceptable tolerance.

One gripe of many tape measures is that they work well for measuring long boards, but do not work well for making marks with your right hand. For woodworking, a left to right tape is much better because I can use my right hand to mark the wood.This tape is made well, has a great rolling mechanism, tested to be perfectly accurate, and the smooth plastic shell is friendly for setting it on a nice workpiece. I removed the metal clip, love it.

Great measuring tape..Am right handed but measure from right to left..was tired of looking at measurements upside down..now I have a regular tape if I need to measure from left to right and one to measure from right to left..It feels sturdy and easy to read..

I finally found it. The last tape measure I'll ever need. I was so happy when I was finally able to hold a tape measure in my dominant hand, pull the tape out, and see the numbers right-side-up. I just kept opening and closing it over and over again.Then, when I finally used it on a project, I realized just how inefficient I had been for years with the right-handed tape measures.One fun perk is that the clip is on the correct side for lefties, so we can grab it off our left hip and use it without having to use our superior dexterity to flip it around.This is a must have if you are a lefty who measures things.
