Reliable, Affordable
The controller works well on PC, and even better when you remap it within games like Sonic Origins, and Sonic Mania, or any of the Genesis collection games. It is very responsive, and the build quality is satisfactory enough. I have yet to encounter an issue where the D-Pad comes off (like someone has said on their review), but it has been fully functional for months. Classic Genesis/MegaDrive feel in your hands (although I would've wished for a 3-button option, yes I'm one of "those")

As good as expected
I absolutely loved the feel and chunky grip of the original 3-button Genesis controller. The 6 Button controller had a significantly better D-Pad but felt too small and grip was not comfortable for me.This 6 Button (Actually 11 Buttons Including the L and R triggers, 2 buttons on bottom and start button) is a mix of the best from the original 3 and 6 button pads. I actually think this is the best most responsive D-Pad I've ever felt. It's not mushy IMO like the 6 Button and it's not too stiff like the 3 Button. The directional pad has a perfect very slight sticky feeling when you press down on the pad that makes you confident you pressed the right direction. It's also soft yet not mushy.Perfect Emulation pad if you don't need analog controls. Sometimes Retrobit Dpads have questionable build quality but in the full week that I've used it it's not shown a sign of weakness yet.

Decent retro gamepad
Decent retro gamepad. Feels a bit awkward in the hands but build quality feels durable. Jury is out on whether the silicon membrane on the face buttons will last particularly with daily use.

Nostalgia
Handy wired controller that reminds me from when I had a Genesis. 6 button layout is a solid choice for some games. Also remapping is easy, I just need to figure that part out.

Much better than I expected.
I saw a lot of people trying to steer people away from this. I had my original genesis controller, ready to compare this to. They feel pretty darn close to each other. It worked fine the first time I launched Sonic Mania on PC. It just felt right. It was the buttons I used to press to make sonic jump. And to be clear, it feels cheap compared to modern controllers, but so do the original genesis controllers. If they felt really premium, they wouldn't feel like the original hardware.

Really like that it's a licensed SEGA controller in USB form!!!
I recently purchased the SEGA usb controller. I really like the feel of the controller in my hands. It's very comfortable to use. And it's just really cool that's it's a licensed SEGA product!

"R" Right Shoulder Button Problems And Passive Customer Service
Everything else on the controller works great, with a D-Pad that registers all 8 directions properly, but the right "R" shoulder button is not working properly, as it does not have the same responsiveness that I had on day one. To pour salt to the wound, customer service seems to be non-existent, with them pretending they are interested in fixing the problem, when it has been a week of the back-and-forth run-around, with no resolution in sight.I had enough faith in this product to pre-order it from Castlemania Games, and I'm beginning to think this was a huge mistake, as $20, plus their high shipping charges, and half-a-year later, I finally receive a controller that has problems less than several months in, and I'm beginning to think that Sega needs to re-evaluate where they should put their quality seal, because I don't see it here. What a huge mistake this purchase was. I really wanted to like this controller too, because it had the full six buttons, with the original comfortable classic Genesis controller feel to it, but this is extremely difficult to recommend as it is.Hit-or-miss quality products, and customer service that teases the customer is not my definition of a purchase worth the money, and hassle. I'm supposed to have "soldering skills" to have a replacement "R" shoulder taken care of?? I'm Sorry Retro-Bit, but I'm extremely disappointed, and that was almost $30 flushed down the drain, with what I got here. This hide-and-seek customer service also didn't help matters at all. I cannot recommend this controller with these flimsy triggers that can slide, and become borderline unresponsive at times. Time to find real Sega hardware from the 90's, and a USB adapter, or better yet, just go for the 8BitDo M30, since they're a company that cares about making quality products, since Retro-Bit screwed me over. Never again!!!

Brought back the Genesis feels!
Feels, from what I remember, just like my original Genesis controllers from back in the 90's. I use this controller for Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, and 3DO games using Batocera and it's worked well for me. I did have an issue the first attempt at mapping the controls in Batocera - it didn't seem to register half the buttons. After restarting Batocera the issue went away and I was able to map the entire controller without issue.Overall a great deal! If you don't have your old Genesis carts anymore, this is probably the way to go with an emulator to relive your old school gaming experiences. I almost gave into a Sega clone console with an everdrive cart - but that would have cost more then 5x's the price and would have taken much longer to setup. This seemed like the much better route - and I can play multiple other consoles outside of just Genesis.
