I bought this to program and tune a new transmission control module with Forscan. It worked great. There's a little bit of learning curve, it's not plug and play, if your program doesn't already natively support it you need to download and install drivers, but beyond that it's perfect.Forscan can be a bit picky with cables, but this one worked perfectly and got me back on the road with no issues and saved me a grand having a dealer do it.

Worked percent for Forscan mods on my Raptor. No updates or drivers needed.

No problems whatsoever. Connected perfectly. I used it with forscan in a 2012 focus to change my headlight type to undefined so that the canbus would let me use LED headlights.

Worked like a charm to reprogram a remanufactured ABS module on a 2007 F150. The shop I initially asked to program the module could not do it, and claimed that the module was probably bad. I didn't believe their diagnosis, so I acquired the FORScan software and this cable. Using AsBuilt data from a Ford website for my specific VIN number, I manually entered the proper values (alternatively can also load an AsBuilt file). The flashing ABS light went out immediately. This procedure can also be employed with a used ABS module, but you get what you pay for. There are helpful tutorials on YouTube that give good pointers on using the software; some of these use expensive bluetooth interfaces which are not necessary.
