Nothing to fault, just as described
I used these to attach long floating shelves which these single brackets are good for as allow you to space them as needed. They feel solid and do the job nicely. One piece of advice - make sure you have a drill bit long enough to fully drill them out as standard drill bits will not work.

These brackets did a great job!
I put up two shelves, each two metres long and using four brackets on each. The final job looks great and the shelves are sturdy. My shelves are made of 28mm thick wood which was not enough to hide the bracket completely so I cut a rebate with the top hidden but the bottom of the bracket showing. To hide these I put a piece of 12mm quarter round underneatch which turned out to be an elegent solution. The rods of the brackets are about 10.4mm diameter so a bit of a tight fit in a hole made with a 10mm drill bit. Also, the rods being 150 long, an unusually long bit is required. The brackets seem to make a fairly strong shelf although it wouild depend how deep they are. Mine are 300mm deep and plenty strong enough for medium weight things I have put on it. I did check the rods when the brackets were screwed to the wall and it took 10kg on the ends to bend them down 1 degree. So I guess placing 40kg in the middle of my shelf (150mm from the wall) would be fine with only a slight sag.

It was not 10mm and it snapped in two
When they say 10mm ± 1mm, they really do mean it! I would recommend a 10.5mm or larger drill bit.Be careful when putting it in, my bracket snapped in two!I eventually managed to get the job done, but it was quite difficult, required special drill bits, and I under-estimated how hard it was to drill such a long straight line. My shelf is a bit wonky...

Sturdy but reware of the drill bit size
It's build is very good without any sharp edges. The only drawback is the size, it definitely NOT fitted on 10mm hole. I end up buying another 2 drill bits to test it out.I have to go up to 10.5mm for a tight fit. Also tested on a 11mm pilot hole on a separate junk wood and I found that it's little bit loose but still manage to fit once fully inserted because of the length. If you have the 10.5mm and 11mm drill bit or planning to buy one you may want to give it a go. Quality wise it's sturdy and good.
