Great
Great vibrant colour. Actually amazing stuff I bought 2 tubs and did some the full colour and the other tub I mixed in with conditioner to pastel it down and it worked a wonder. Lasted for quite a while too! I’ve used this brand for years and it’s never done any damage what so ever to my hair.

Love the colour!
I'm really impressed with the colour I ended up with! 😍💜 I've used different blues before, first time with Purple and this one seems to transfer less, may be as it's now been my 4th time dying my hair, but I love all of Directions dyes, they're so kind to my hair, it still remains so soft! 😊 I last dyed my hair in Feb too, and it was only as I was going on holiday I topped it up early, normally it lasts at least 6 months, the darker the colour the longer it lasts though. So I'm sure this will last at least 6 months too! 😁

Good colour but bleeds
Provides a great vibrant colour even when used with conditioner. However it washes out quite quickly unless using cold water and can bleed into pillow cases and towels for thw first 3-5 washes

Favourite colour
I’ve tried the denim blue Directions colour before, which was okay, I like the violet more though. I leave on for quite a while (natural grey + white hair) and it is mega bright at first which is great. Mine then fades fairly quickly to a kind of lavender on the roots and darker hair and teal blue on the lighter and drier parts. No idea how this happens lol but I really like it, it’s kind of mermaid hair! That stage so far is lasting fairly well, the initial bright colour is quite short lived but fun whilst it lasts. It’s easy to apply, not messy at all if you are careful and doesn’t stain skin or sink etc.Not the longest lasting colours but not expensive and fun if you like surprise colour changing hair! I’m careful washing it to keep it longer but if you wash with clarifying shampoo it removes quite easily. But my hair is not bleached. Picture is immediately after applying/drying.

More like a toner than a colour
I've used Directions in various shades for many years and this must be the worst one yet. I used it on hair that was freshly bleached and washed with clarifying shampoo. The immediate colour looked good but after the first wash my hair was purply white. I've had a similar problem with Lagoon Blue but all other shades I've used (plum, cerise, turquoise) have been long lasting

Doesn’t last
A bit disappointed colour looks fab for about 2 washes. But seemed to go on a bit bitty for my liking going back to my old brand

Great for white/grey hair to eliminate brassiness
Fantastic stuff! Bought this as I have white hair & it turns a brassy yellow colour. Spent a fortune on purple shampoos & conditioners to remove it to no avail. Was recommended this stuff & it's fab. I put a tiny amount in my conditioner & mix it together & then apply the conditioner for a few mins & wash out. The results are fab. Keep it on a bit longer & it gives you purple hair. I did that & quite liked it althiugh it was a surprise. It faded nicely after a couple of washes. This will last an age too as add just a tiny amount to the conditioner I am about to use. It will stain your fingers though so I use a little plastic cup that I keep in the shower to mix and a teaspoon to dip in it to prevent purple hands. I just dip the end of the teaspoon in about 0.5cm and add to the conditioner to mix. This has saved me a fortune on purple hair products! Love it.

Great colour
I’ve used many times before. Strong vibrant colour and easy to use. I would say this time it faded in the usual amount of time to blue but the blue is still present after 3 months. It’s a pale silver blue and I don’t dislike. I always use on clean dry hair and rinse off with cool water for best result. I would recommend.
