Squishy master
I recently got my hands on the Squishy Maker Station - Amazon Exclusive Edition for my 6-year-old, and let me tell you, it's been a hit at our house! This DIY kit is a game-changer for any kid who loves crafts and squishies.First off, the set comes with everything you need, which is a relief. There are plenty of molds and colors, so my kiddo was able to start creating right out of the box without any extra trips to the store. The instructions were clear enough that she could get going on her own, but I jumped in because, honestly, it looked like fun.The process itself was a blast. We've spent hours designing and making these squishies, and it's amazing to see my daughter's imagination come to life. She's made everything from a galaxy-themed cat to a neon, sparkly pineapple. The quality of the final products really surprised me—they're super squishy and have held up well, even after being squished about a million times.Cleanup is pretty easy, too, which is a huge plus in my book. Most of the materials are simple to wipe off the table and tools. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that you can run out of the materials fairly quickly if you're as enthusiastic as we are. But honestly, it's well worth the price for the amount of fun and creativity it's sparked in my child. All in all, the Squishy Maker Station is a fantastic buy for any kid (or kid at heart) who loves to create and play. It's not just a toy but a wonderful way to spend quality time together, making something you can actually hold (and squish) at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Worth the price!
I seen some good reviews and some bad but my daughter really wanted it so I caved and bought it. I Don’t regret it, my daughter had a great experience with it and loved it! She was able to make 8 or 9 squishy’s with no problems. Was a great Christmas gift!

Disappointed- Squished our fun!
My 8 year old was so excited to receive this as a gift for the holidays from “Santa”. We were “pumped” to make all the squishies our hearts would desire. Then reality set in…It has been disappointing for numerous reasons. First, it ‘works’ but needs cleaned/reset often. It pulls vacuum to inflate the balloons/bulbs. The system frequently malfunctions, needing to be cleared out. The balloons, more often than not, deflate when trying to fill them with the numerous fillers we tried…slime, clear glue, water, hair gel, glitter, floam….and many more! However, it does create an element of fear/danger that was entertaining to those watched…’will it deflate before you get the contents in AND can you pump the balloon/bulb back up in enough time that the glitter filled contents and whatever else your child wants to put in (per the YouTube videos and Dr. Squish suggestions) runs over’….making a HUGE mess! My husband is a high vacuum engineer (not vacuum cleaners, industrial high vacuum pumps)…his opinion good design; bad quality. He has been busy keeping this contraption repaired and “working”. Secondly, once you get the squishy made…it is difficult to get them tied off. And, out of the 10 plus we have made only 2 remain in use. We keep them in the sink…just in case they spring a leak…However, again there is still the element of fear/surprise…regarding will they explode, rupture or leak from the tied off top of the ballon/bulb!?! Lastly, Santa does not do returns or exchanges….so, we have a disappointed little one that asks to make “one more” because it might work this time…seriously sad! Do not override your intuition, this contraption is the mess you imagine it will be…even though it seems like loads of fun it is a ton of mess and disappointment.

So much fun, but they really need to include an equal amount of clips to balloons
The media could not be loaded. My 8yo daughter loves Doctor Squish videos and squishes and slimes, etc. so when I saw this I knew I had to get it for her. It really is a great set and it’s easy to use (for an adult- if you’re buying for 13 yo or younger be prepared to assist- getting the balloon over the neck of the maker to fill it can be kind of tricky for small hands). The clips are hard to get open but this is because they have to be tight to close off the squishies. This is a great set and comes with slime powder, confettis, glitters, 2 dyes, and more. A great option is that you can also use glitters and confettis that you already have (we have so much of this stuff leftover from slime kits).I’ve seen some reviews tripping about this being messy, but I’m not sure what exactly they were doing. We put some paper towels down, but didn’t need them. As long as you are careful and follow the directions, it’s not at all messy. Apparently there is a video you can watch too to follow along step by step, but we just followed the easy to follow written directions and had no trouble. As the kit states I do suggest you practice pumping up one of the plain ones first so you know what you’re doing before proceeding with the slime powder, glitter, water, etc.. We practiced once and we also created a small squishy for the first one we made and had no issues. This is a really fun and unique kit, but the only including 3 clips for 6 balloons is utter nonsense and the reason why I only gave this item 5 stars. I realize that this is because they want you to purchase refills, but that’s shady business and they should rely on the quality and the uniqueness of the item- because it is really cool- instead of feeling like they need to stoop to shady practices to sell refill kits.
