Long battery life..easy durable attachment..safety device
3 colors with 3 lighting effects for each color. Put 2 on my dog's backpack/harness. It looks like a Christmas tree running thru yard at nite but he is easy to locate from near or far. Long battery life; USB rechargeable. Secure clasp to mount on harness or collar but I use the old school keyring as my dog's play fighting has opened the clasp a few times, causing me to lose one light. Makes walking dog at nite more visible to drivers. Seriously, if your kid is out late, put one of these on him. If you are a camper, hang in campsite to easily locate your camp. Definitely worth the purchase. It is my preferred light for safety of my dog's and myself at night.

Durable and long lasting!
This is my second purchase of this light. My first one is about 5 years old and is still going strong! They upgraded the on/off button, which a nice small improvement. I'm glad to see they are always looking for ways to improve their products. I have one on my Frenchie and now my Dachshund. This has proved to be very durable and I love how it attaches. I can't stand things that dangle off of my dogs, so the integrated clip is great! I'd love for Ruffwear to update this to a USB-C, but that's my preference due to having mostly USB-C cables.

Great product
Love these so I bought another! I keep one on the dog leash and the other on her harness so people can see me and my dog if we’re out at night. The red flashing light signals other drivers from far away and they always go by so slowly and safely because of these lights. I chose this design because of the sturdy materials and the fact that they’re rechargeable. They last a long time because they’re quality! I just wish the button was a little easier to press on and off and for a generic white light option since I don’t use the blue or green settings

Light
We purchased this to put on our dog’s life jacket for kayaking at night. The light is extremely bright and blinding. I wish there was multiple levels of brightness. Otherwise it is great in case of an emergency.

Good for humans too
Obviously I bought this light for the dog, but I found myself using it also. Extra visibility while running or biking. When my usual lights run out of power this light keeps going. I had this on blink for over 8 hours and it still wasn't dead. Even during daylight I feel safer while biking with an active light. The ring on top isn't very reliable, but the clip on it's back hasn't given me issue. It has 3 different colors and a variety of settings. I like my lights rechargeable, and not have to worry about watch batteries that cost almost half the cost of the light itself. Even though my dog stays on leash. I still want him visible when it's dark.

RIP OFF
This product is not up to the standards of RUFFWEAR.It is impossible to thread the clip on through the poorly designed opening, is a total rip off for the price and is made inexpensively and poorly thought out.I am returning this

Bright!
We love these, they hold charge well. They are very bright and the 3 color choices help us identify our different dogs.I can see the dogs from long distances at night with these.

Easy fix for unreliable clip.
Cut about a 3/4" section from the bare part of a Q'tip. Mine was made of a hollow plastic (Equate brand). Slide the the Q'tip behind the plastic clip thru to the other side. It should slide in with enough resistance that it can't fall out. Flattening one end just a bit will help getting it started. Leave enough sticking out so you can grab it to pull it out when you want to detach the light. The clip cannot be opened either manually or accidentally with the Q'tip piece in place.Optional: I use a piece of web belt material under the light to minimize it sliding around on thin narrow material like the V-ring loop.Using the quick ring fastened with para-cord to the harness is a recommended fail-safe, at least until you have used it for a while and haven't needed a save. I trust the clip now and prefer having less things that the harness can get snagged on for the dogs benefit.i'm sure the are better ways to accomplish this. I provide this information so dog owners don't lose these quality lights unnecessarily or would use them again if they new a simple fix would solve problem.I believe the complete line of Ruffwear harnesses now have a dedicated light loop which I have just used on a new HI & LITE. Its a nice snug fit and may have fixed the problem on their brand. My 18 month old Front Range does not have this feature. I'm sticking with fix because the data on the light does not indicate if a dedicated light loop was used.
