Perfect for cylinder porting or tight work.
I wanted to do my own two-stroke cylinder porting, and found this. It's very high quality, German build quality, and came with an adapter to 1/4 threads for an air chuck connection. The cylinders I port are 52 and 54mm and I need stubby cutting bits to work in the cylinder freely. The exhaust sleeve works well, but I taped it in place with some electrical tap, or else there isn't a way to keep it in place. That's really the only flaw so far. It's a high-quality tool.

too big for chainsaw porting
I bought this specifically to grind on upper transfers on chainsaw cylinders. Unless youre only porting 54mm or bigger cylinders will this work. Even than its a tight fit. Wasted money since I tossed the box away and waited a few months to get it out to try it. Probably will never use it. Other than that I just needed a male air connector and it was ready to go. Seems like it would work just fine for other grinding job.

This unit is not friendly or adaptable to any U.S. materials or fittings or bits.
There is a clear sight glass tube at the supply end of the air hose, with what look like push lock connectors used in semi truck air brake systems. this is metric, and non serviceable in the U.S. mine leaked, and was returned for that issue. The unit feels heavy and made of good quality materials, and feels well made in all honesty, but the hose leaked constantly and I never got to actually use it.The tool feels good in my hand, and seems like it would work well, however everything about it is metric, the threads, the hose diameter, the collet, the wrenches, etc. etc etc. This means you cannot go down to your local store in the U.S. and get a serviceable part or bit, including the air fitting which is also metric, and not 1/4" n.p.t.You will need:You are going to have to supply and adapt an air fitting and modify the threads so it will work.Good luck on getting the exhaust shield to slip over the tool and actually stay on, the average homeowner will become extremely frustrated with this.Good luck finding a good supply of 3mm tool bits. The collet wrenches pictures are not what you receive, you will receive flat wrenches. If the air hose ever had a leak, or something went wrong with it that it had to be replaced, it would be cheaper to get another one.No service port for the 90 degree head to lubricate the 90 degree bevel gears. This unit is probably great for a hobbyist who's hobbies are created with soft materials, however if tough materials are used, where are you going to obtain 3mm carbide bits in the shapes you need?It truly seems that such a high quality mini die grinder falls victim of the differences of measurement from place of origin to place of sale. If everything we had here in the U.S,. was on the metric standard, this tool would get a 5 star rating no questions. It's a great tool, and well made, it's just being sold in the wrong country with different measurement standards.

Not a cheap ‘China’ product
Seems to be Japan/German product. Not made in China?? Must use supplied air fitting, all else is metric sized. Would recommend THIS pneumatic die grinder product.

Works as expected great for porting 2 stroke motors
Works as expected great for porting 2 stroke motors .Did not come with exhaust sleeve.Did not come assembled or with the correct parts to assemble . Had to go to Home Depot to get a 1/4 “ barbed fitting and hose clamp , then cut the supplied nylon braided hose to make it work .Do not purchase unless you are prepared to make modifications. You might get lucky and get sent a better kit. Fingers crossed.5 stars for function2.5 stars for overal quality0 stars for all parts supplied0 stars for assembly0 stars for ready to use

Kinda big
It was too big for porting 52mm chainsaw motors without cutting down bit

Super cheap quality. Accessories don't fit.
This thing is absolutely the cheapest pneumatic tool I've purchased. The first time I hooked it to air, the hose exploded and the fitting blew off. After I repaired the air line, I tried to install one of the included bits; they are too small at 3mm. The included collet is actually 1/8", which is good for the tools I have, but bad for the included bits.Ultimately, the tool does work. I'm not sure it will last very long.

Get those transfers ground out
I really like it for getting the transfers on my Husqvarna builds. Great for the average guy or pro builder. Very well made and an incredible value
