Terrific bags! They stand open on their own to fill and the handles are actually comfortable. Also, not so big that they get heavy enough to make your arms longer on the way out to your car. Who wants to carry 40 pounds of groceries in a bag? Still, they're sturdy and well made. Just so you know, they are made of burlap material lined with heavy plastic, so they're not compost-able in the end. But assuming you'll use them dozens and dozens of times, they're environmentally friendly, saving both paper and plastic bags, so there you go. Note that I'm not sure how long they'll stay looking clean and new, but for my purposes, five stars all the way.

Great size and very sturdy. I bought them to use as a beach bag gift bag and all the teachers loved them.

These are sturdy and I had them monogrammed for my bridesmaids and they turned out so good ! Intend to add a bow that matched the thread of the monogram but didn’t but, they loved them anyway! They are also kinda lined with a waterproof like material inside.

Five of the six bags holding up well after two months of moderate use for grocery shopping. The stitching on one strap on one of the bags is coming undone. I would buy these again if I needed more but I wouldn’t except years of use from them.

I finally received my burlap bags. Theyre nice and sturdy but they smelled like mildew. They are still airing out in my basement after a few days. I had to put baking soda to try to get rid of the smell.

I have enjoyed these bags since I got them. They are made very well and I feel they should last quite some time. I haven't had issues fitting anything when going to the grocery store.They arent loose bags so you can't crumple them up and bring them into the store. They are stiffer(?) bags, so I fit all 5 inside the 1 and carry them into the store with me to make it easier to transport them.They are made of burlap so they have a rough texture to them but I knew this when buying, so it was expected.I think the bag person was even impressed how things fit.
