Amazing piece of hardware!
Wow, what an amazingly great piece of hardware this is - I'm new to Arduino and the support that the platform has on the internet with the enormous array of addons that are available to unleash your ideas into reality. I has heard of these devices several years ago when working on a project for the Exhibition of the North and I was aware that certain installations were Arduino powered to make things happen in time to one another. From this I didn't really look much more into the world of open source micro processors until recently when a project came up when I thought back to the Exhibition.I researched and purchased the Elegoo Uno R3 board because of the perfect amount of digital input/outputs that the board offered, and the compatibility of the Elegoo with other components that matched the genuine Arduino specifications (at a much lower cost). So, with this platform your imagination is really the limiting factor with loads of available addons and other common industrial components that all work perfectly with the microprocessor - if you can think it, in theory you can build it using this as the 'brains' of the project. There are plenty of digital input/outputs for controlling external devices and a small set of analogue pins that can be used with rheostats etc - to my excitement I have recently discovered that using an I2C Serial Adapter Module allows you to use these analogue pins to control LCD screens and the like whilst only taking two pins rather than the rake of digital pins usually required - brilliant! (two analogue pins plus a 5V VCC feed and a GND ground pin that can be supplied via a 5V rail). The programming part of the device can be slightly daunting at first, more so if you are new to coding etc - but it really isn't that hard to learn as long as you stick to the rules of the language, there are hundreds and hundreds of videos on YouTube and walkthroughs on the internet to follow to integrate each component - if you can methodically place the code within the 'rules' of the system then it really isn't that bad at all to get things moving as you want. So, would I recommend the Elegoo Uno R3? Absolutely 100% without any hesitation - it is a fantastic platform to incorporate into your project if you need processed control with a great backup of online resources and physical add-on devices to allow the board to 'capture' information or 'control' almost anything. It can report back to itself or via bluetooth to your phone, Wifi etc. Really amazing piece of technology at a fantastically good price. I honestly wish I knew of these devices years ago! Don't be scared off with the coding, persevere as once you get the hang of it - it really isn't that hard to learn.I purchased the R3 version to build my prototype, then the Nano version to build the first few 'in the field' experiments, both versions work in the same way except the Nano is way smaller.

This board is like the Tony Stark of electronics
I bought this ELEGOO UNO R3 Board for Arduino because I wanted to get my hands dirty with DIY electronics projects. And boy, did I get dirty! But in a good way. This board is like the Tony Stark of electronics - sleek, powerful, and always ready to do some serious tinkering. I swear, I plugged this baby in, and I could feel the electricity surging through my veins. Not only is it fast and efficient, but it also comes with a USB cable that's longer than my ex's list of complaints. I could practically plug this thing in from the moon, and it would still work. And the storage? Don't even get me started. I could fit more code on this board than I ever thought possible. It's like having a personal hard drive for my DIY projects.Overall, this board is the perfect wingman for any aspiring electronics enthusiast. It's reliable, versatile, and just plain cool. So if you're thinking about getting one, don't hesitate - your inner Tony Stark is waiting.

Great Arduino compatible Product !
I urgently needed a couple of simple, 8 bit Arduino compatible boards to allow me to load the free Arduino Bootloader program to x10 bare Atmega328 chips and these ELEGOO Uno R3 boards worked perfectly for this task. I then loaded my Arduino C language applications to the chips and send out my products based around these. Really pleased with the clear pin numbering and decals on these UNO boards. Helps makes life so simple. Next Day PRIME delivery of these was as usual very impressive too. Highly recommend these boards.

Arduino quality
They always work. Delivery deadlines not as important as the quality of the product.

A nice arduino clone.
Not much to say about this - it does what I want it to. Interfaces easily with arduino IDE.
