great price, good sensitivity, horrible instructions ."lost in translatio" of Chinese to English for a relatively common detector.The sensitivity adjustment instruction is both comically off track and meaningless. once deciphered, it is basically a silly feature that most will never use nor figure out for that matter.it is good for live wire detect in the simplest term though.

I'm not a professional electrician, just a homeowner with two old strings of Christmas lights that had sentimental value to me but no longer worked. Saw an article that these bulb burnouts could be easily traced using this kind of device. Ordered a cheaper one and followed the youtube video instructions and within 30 minutes I had both strings of lights repaired and fully functional again. BUT...I had kept all same type bulbs from previous strings of lights that I had tossed, so I had replacement bulbs available for the repair. Was very pleased with how easy it was to find the burnt out bulbs! cmz

Works as advertised and very handy to check yourself before you wreck yourself. I like the auto shutoff and the easy to see indicator and audio output. If you can’t remember if you turned the breaker on or off, like I do, this is an easy way to do a quick check so I do it. I’ll risk it if I have to deal with meter leads.

Looks great, the shape is a near identical replica of the Klein. I like the red color, and the voltage detector does work, but the flashlight does not work. I shall attempt to contact the seller.I like having name brand, quality tools, but I'm tired of buying a new voltage detector every year. They constantly fall out of my safety vest and the last one fell out so many times, the tip finally broke off... And for some reason I have terrible luck with these things. Batteries are always running out, or they just stop working. So I decided to buy an inexpensive one this time, well I guess you get what you pay for...Update...Purchased a second one, same seller, same color. This time, the flashlight did work, but it's not very good. Just a little light.Well, these still fall out of my vest, but I found out that the buttons are very cheap. They're always popping out. Well, the Powe button finally came out and I couldn't find it, so another one to the trash. I'm done buying these. Back to name brand tools.
