After spending time researching different models to replace my old bean to cup machine I decided on this and I am so happy so far! Coffee is hot and strong and tasty!It was easy to set up and was making great coffee in about 10 minutes. I haven’t worked out all the features yet but looking forward to experimenting. Initial review though I would highly recommend! Milk is frothed beautifully and as someone who loves strong coffee it’s hitting all my expectations! I do currently have very strong beans which may be a factor but coffee is lovely! Much better than my last machine.Temperature- I haven’t adjusted the setting but the temperature is good I was worried as I’ve seen reviews on lots of models that mention the milk isn’t hot and coffee is not hot but I have not had any issues with this model drinks are hot and keep temperature well in a double walled insulated glass mug (which I bought from Amazon at the same time)Cleaning- milk system is easy to rinse, coffee grounds come out as very dry pucks so are easy to remove and rinse, I haven’t had to do maintenance cleaning yet so can’t comment.Water tank: the feature where you don’t have to pull completely out and can top up using a jug is great. I keep a jug under it when switching on and off so drip tray has not needed emptied or cleaned yet so this is a top tip.Size and appearance: machine is much smaller than my previous machine and fits nicely under the cupboard and is a really nice looking unit- seems well made and components aren’t particularly flimsy.I will try and update this review if I learn anything new but my general comment is this is a relatively cheap model but does not disappoint- I didn’t want to spend a fortune so this was a decent price for an excellent machine and if you love coffee like me I don’t think you will be disappointed!

The media could not be loaded. I've been using this for a couple of months now , and so far it's been great. The coffee comes out lovely and hot, but you can adjust the temperature to suit. It was set up quite quickly, I followed a YouTube video and that helped. The strength of the coffee can be changed to suit your taste, mild, medium, strong and also you can set it to adjust the amount of espresso, and milk, and it'll remember that setting for you. There's a hot water spout if you like to dilute your espresso, make Americano, or even for tea. Personally, I think it makes a lovely tasting coffee, and the delonghi double walled glasses are a perfect fit for the machine.

Like that it’s bean to cup but that’s about it. Lots of water in the drip tray as it flushes through after use so always emptying it. Milk frother good but you need to take apart the part to keep it clean which is difficult to open. Needs descaling a lot which takes about 45 minutes! A lot of maintenance for a decent cup of coffee.

Out of my purchases so far in 2023, I think this is one of my favourite. I hope i'm not jinxing it, by saying that, but I do really love this machine. It might not be top or bottom of the range, but it does everything I would want in my own kitchen.I have had several bean-to-cup machines over the last 10 years. Our first one, was very similar to this model, just not with all the bells and whistles. We replaced that, because we wanted one we could use with Alexa, which is the only downside to this product for me.However, having a bean-to-cup machine that works with Alexa is not essential, when I can choose several different hot drinks and control everything I want from the touch of a button. The problem with Alexa is, I can forget what I am asking for or even what the routine was to start with. So, I am far happier with this item being hands-on. I would still have to move rooms to make the drink, with or without it being voice activated.Overall, I really love this machine. It is easy to maintain, clean, and use, in my opinion. It is a little pricey and all the accessories to keep the internal components functioning appropriately are relatively expensive. My only grumble would be that, the machine often wants to be emptied after just one use. The ground beans are deposited in a container big enough to hold more than one use, but I guess it keeps the machine clean, by having me do this regularly. Who knows, maybe De'Longhi might be wanting to increase my level of exercise, by building this function in 👌.Anyway, in case you missed it, I love this machine and would recommend this, if you can afford the initial cost and the products needed to maintain this long-term. IMO it is worth that cost and does make me feel like I am viable competition to the likes of Starbucks and Costa in my local area 🤣.

UPDATED:I’m 4 months in and have removed a star for one main reason.The ground coffee option may as well not exist. If it doesn’t work properly (which happens 50% of the time) it makes an almighty mess. It would be better off advertised as no ground coffee option.Old 5 star review:I’ve been using the De’Longhi bean-to-cup coffee machine for 4/5 weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The quality of coffee it produces is phenomenal, on par with what you’d get in a coffee shop. The customisation options are endless—you can adjust the strength, temperature, and grind size to suit your taste perfectly.We bought it to replace our old Breville machine and this is far easier and produces much nicer coffee.The built-in grinder is a game-changer, delivering fresh, aromatic coffee with every cup. It’s also incredibly easy to use and clean, with clear instructions and intuitive controls. The milk frother creates creamy, frothy perfection for lattes and cappuccinos.It’s a bit of an investment, but absolutely worth it for any coffee lover. Highly recommend this machine—it’s transformed my mornings!It is a bulky bit of kit, however, so be mindful if you have limited side space
