Doesn't work.
This monkey barely moves even when I shine a bright flashlight on it. I have a dancing flower that is many years old and it still bounces up and down.The monkey looks cute but is a disappointment otherwise.

Adorable!!!
When my niece (who has severe A.D.D.) was about 6 years old, she was notorious for "zoning out" in the middle of conversations. After one of her "out of body experiences", I asked her where on earth she goes when she's daydreaming. Her (totally hilarious & adorable) response was, "I'm just in a park, on a swing". A decade later, the best way to recapture her attention is to say, "Jenny, get off your swing"! When I saw this I knew it would be the perfect Christmas present. It's adorable & has a little bit of a funny story behind it. It arrived in the mail very quickly & the solar function works perfectly. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing it...

A simple gift to give some joy.
Got this for my monkey loving sister. I saw how cute it was and ordered one for me also. Both monkeys I ordered work very well. They do make a very light sound if it's in full sun and the house is very quiet. I would order again.

It's cute but may need some help to swing.
It may need to be tilted to work. I was getting ready to return this because it did not work except in the brightest sunlight and then only slightly. By accident I discovered that if you put something under the bottom back edge to tilt it forward it started working. I used 2 wooden ice cream pop sticks to shim it up, one on top of the other. It is overcast today and there is no sun, and she is swinging like a monkey should. My granddaughter will be happy.

Grandkids love it - so it's a winner!
Adorable! Time to put the solar dancing snowman away for Spring. Glad to find this cute monkey! The grandkids love it. It sits in their play window with their other window toys & things. It's a keeper!

Doesn’t work
I bought this for my Mama as a gift. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. She’s had it sitting under direct light for over a week & it hasn’t even tried to swing. Super disappointed with it for the price.
