So far so good programmed them this weekend just the way they said they should be done on the website and so far they are working fine. It is important also to make sure you use any existing remotes that you have for the same vehicle if you still want to continue to use them. And also in my case it was Ford I have a sports car of the same year and you want to make sure the keys to that or not in close proximity to the ones you are programming, they may cross contaminate.

The key fob came with a QR code for instructions. The QR code brought you to website that wanted your email and credit card number. I wasn't going to do that and initiated a return. The Amazon Tech support gave instructions that didn't work. I searched for instructions online for my 2006 Ford Freestyle and found instructions that worked. It was pretty easy so I am keeping these.

Purchased the dual pack, programmed them both at the same time and one worked for half a day, and had to use the second one. I changed the battery and nothing, so I went and found the old worn-out fob and took the inside and replaced it with the shell of the fob and reprogrammed the fobs. I have two working fobs now but had to recycle to do it. There was no way to replace just one fob but the return wanted both back so that is why I chose to keep them and replace the hardware of an old fob with the shell, so then I could just keep them. Shipping was quick.
