Stovetop Espresso Maker Replacement Silicone 6 Cup Size Gasket Seals and filter Screen for Easyworkz Moka Pot

I don't know where this screen is manufactured but the quality is much better than the screens that have come in my chinese-made filter screens in my mocha pots. I'm buying this one to replace an inferior screen in my existing pot. The screen is made of heavier metal, the finish is much better and the holes are small like the ones in the Italian mocha pots. Small holes seem to be essential to filter the grounds properly. Very pleased.

I love the Moka Express, but the gasket that comes with it is a white rubber that hardens and fails quickly (less than 25 uses). Also, the original upper screen is thinner than the recess it sits in, so the seal has to be perfect or the result is a sputtering, over extracted mess. This product solves both problems, but needs a tiny bit of assistance up front. First, the gasket has a slightly smaller ID than the original screen, so it's not a great fit there. However, the replacement screen fits the replacement gasket perfectly. But, the new screen is just a hair too big to fit in the recess--this actually ends up being a good thing. I spent about 5 minutes on a 400 grit diamond stone gradually reducing the OD of the new screen (like lapping in a valve, but on the edge of the screen), and eventually got a perfect fit--the new screen sits in the recess with no gap around it, and it is thicker than the original one so it is perfectly level with the aluminum body around it. This make the silicon gasket seal flawlessly also. I know it sounds like a lot, but it truly was just a few minutes to make a perfect seal and the coffee now flows quietly and steadily out, like it should. The only other note--it's not easy to remove this seal (which is good), so if you like to remove the screen and seal every time, you may want to have a bamboo skewer on hand to pull the gasket. Otherwise, a good rinse with hot water is enough. For me, this product has unlocked the true potential of the Bialetti, and should be provided with the unit originally.

I thought this would fit an espresso maker passed down from my mother in law, but it's too small! I'm still trying to find the righ size!

True part for my 12 cup mocha pot!

Very disappointing waste of money. Returning. I measured my Moka pot to be sure I have a 12 cup. It holds 750 milliliters of H2O. That makes it a 12 cup according to Bialetti. Finding a replacement gasket and filter is proving an exercise in futility. Bialetti knows there is a problem: theirs do not fit either. So buy a new pot for 80.00$. What a rip.

I should RETURN IT, but the screen works.Sealing rings are good quality, but TOO SMALL [per specs].The rings are sold as 84mm, BUT they are 81mm OD, making for a sloppy and very difficult fit.
