The measuring rod on this scale set is spot on. They sections were easy to put together with the included screwdriver and then it slid into the base scale with only the smallest of effort. But it stays in quite securely. Metric on one side and inches on the other. Easy to use. The scale is accurate. Only about two tenths of a pound off what I expect it to be. Just a note, the button to switch between metric and pounds is under the batter cover. It's easier to do before you attach the measuring rod because you'll have to turn the scale upside down and you don't have much time to do it. But once it's done it's set and forget. Otherwise, the readout display is opposite of a regular scale in that it's upside down to the user. But much easier to read for the person doing the height and weight measurement. I'm quite please with this. It doesn't take up much room and it works well.

The overall unit itself seems decently built. It's got some heft to it, and if this were printed upon correctly, this might have been something that could be used regularly and it would hold up to repeated use. The problem is though that the part of it that measures height seems to be off. As another reviewer mentioned, it's like 2 inches off or so. Just seems like a quality control issue perhaps. Maybe if this had come in proper order, it would likely have received a higher rating from me.

I really wanted to like this unit but ultimately this falls prey to one major issue: it can't quite do what it is supposed to do.I'll start with the good attributes. This is easy enough to put together and comes with a screwdriver, something that a wonderful addition in and of itself. It also seems durable enough and like it will stay on the floor instead of moving around. This surprisingly runs on 2 AAA batteries, something I wouldn't have immediately thought about for something like this. I'm used to things either coming with a USB charging cord or with some batteries you can't easily access. It measures well enough, although I'm not immediately sure of its accuracy. Therein lies the major flaw of this: the accuracy.If not for one thing, I wouldn't really question any of this and would likely have given it a higher rating, but that one thing throws the entire unit into question. The ruler was misprinted, making this 2 inches off as far as height goes. The scale looks to be accurate so you would just need to either print the correct numbers over the unit or just not use the ruler. If you're willing to take that chance then go for this, but just be aware of this.Other than that, I'm a little surprised about the weight limit on this. Most kids under a certain age will be way under the weight limit, but the older the kid gets the higher their weight becomes. Some, like a friend's kid, are built like a linebacker and would go over the weight limit easily.

I liked the idea of having this height and weight scales for my home gym. It was easy to put together, but the thing I had an issue with was that the measuring bar looked slightly tilted, wasn’t totally straight. Also, the 20’ marker which is what the 1st measurement starts with is a little off from the ground…..I pushed the bar in to the scale as far as it could possibly go.The scales works great and is accurate.

Accurate weights and doesn’t take up too much space. It was very easy to assemble, took less than 10 minutes including instructions. I do wish that it could weigh more than 200lbs, but I suppose for kids it’s okay. The scale does seem to be accurate weighed my nephew on this scale and on my body composition digital scale and got the same weight within 0.2 pounds difference. Overall I would say it is a decent product.

This is pretty close to what you find at a doctor’s office, but a little more flimsy. The scale is correct and matches to my other home scale. The height seems a little off, but that could be in how we assembled. It’s off by about 1.5 inches, but I think that can be adjusted.
