Really impressed with the Campaign and Mercenaries mode!
Didn't get into it on my X360, but it's absolutely great on the PS4. Runs very smooth. Great game play, graphics, textures, resolution and frame rate. 4 different campaigns with lots of action, worth the $20. "The Mercenaries" is a time based survival mode. I'm digging it, it's incredibly fun.Plenty of good things about this game, but here are my Cons:3v3 "death match" mode. I played about 20 matches and have no idea what is going on. The H.U.D. takes up too much of the screen and I couldn't tell who was on my team or against me without comparing the PSN names to the giant H.U.D. There is no skull icon or teammate death indicator over recently downed teammates, only a X over the HUD... *sigh* it's rather confusing. When you go into "last stand" mode on the ground, it's basically useless. You could get revived but 9/10 the enemy who is already still aiming at you just shoots you once more and you're dead. Then it lets you respawn as a "monster" or "enemy" which SOUNDS SO AWESOME... but it's not, more on that below. On certain modes you can re-spawn as a "enemy/monster" or invade other players campaign as a monster........ I mean this when I say that I have never in my entire life seen such a great idea done horribly wrong. The monster controls are so bad it baffles me. The response time and attack animation time makes this feature completely useless! The attack animations are so slow that the player controlling the agent can literally run circles around you before you could land an attack with the monster. It rubs it in your face even more because when the A.I, attacks you with the same monsters their speed is significantly increased. I had many people invade my games as monsters (it informs you it's happening) but they never managed to land a single attack and gave up. I tried to finish off a downed online opponent as a monster, and by the time the attack finally landed (a sword striking the ground to impale the already wounded agent), they had already gotten revived and ran away LOL. It's like Capcom didn't want this feature to be O.P. or have any significant role in the game, but still wanted people to say "YEAH! we can play as the monster". It had potential to be so much fun, but it's very wonky and rather useless :( .Thankfully there are other modes and features that are great.Despite my complaints, this game is good enough for 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5. I will be thoroughly enjoying the entire campaign of R.E.6. Mercenaries mode is brilliant fun and adds lots of replay value. Anyway, I will definitely be buying R.E. 5 and R.E. 4 remasters when they release on the PS4. Happy gaming.

Fun throw back.
I had a lot of fun with RE5, was excited about 6.Its been years since iv played it on the ps3.My ps3 has been long dead, so having this on ps4 was nice to play and relive some fun memories.Graphics and game play are what you'd expect. The ps4 is only a port and not a remake no improvements other then stronger hardware so everything is of course alot smoother and loading time is faster.I think its aged well and worth a play through even if your new to resident evil and only played the new remakes this would not disappoint.

Overly ambitious and way too long. It's worth $20, but not a penny more.
This game is NOT the disaster your friends or online buddies have told you. This game is also a hot mess, and I mean that in a good way.RE6 is overly ambitious. It's greatest crime: its way too long. It's broken down into 4 main story missions including, the ones forLeonChrisJakeAda.Leon's is the first, and is the best, IMO. It's dark in tone, a tad weird (in a good way) and generally a nice continuation of his storyline from the 2 CGI movies.Chris is next and this is the biggest mess. Think of this part as COD: Resident Evil and you have it. Loud, and repetitive. Just shoot bad guys the whole time. Very little in the way of atmosphere.Jake: It's ok - kind of repetitive, like the Chris section, but I personally enjoyed the character's personality. Most will roll their eyes when you find out how he fits into the big picture, though.Ada: at this point, her story and character are pointless. Voice actress wasn't very emotive, and after her 100th quip, I was ready for her sections to be over. Each character storyline is 5 chapters total. Game took me over 20 hours on Normal mode. For $20, I have no complaints, and on the PS4 and Xbox one, it does run smooth as butter. Really amazing in that sense.

Perfect Port of the Most Underrated Entry
A perfect port of the 2012 release one 360/PS3 with all the DLC included in a very nice and cheap package. This game has a lot of haters and frankly I don't understand most of them as I enjoyed the hell out of this just as much as any of the other Resident Evils, including the older style ones. The problems I do have with are a few of the vehicle sections controlling terribly and the tendency of the camera to go out of your control to show you stupid stuff you already know while you're trying to do something. Jake's campaign(if you didn't already know there's 4 campaigns centered around pairs of characters with each taking about 6 hours to complete, so you get a lot just for story content) seems to try out the most gimmicks with it's missions mostly with aggravating and annoying results. While Jake's campaign is littered with groan inducing gameplay moments I don't feel it hinders the overall experience that much, considering the other campaigns are pretty stellar and more polished. Along with the large amount of story content you get side modes like the always fun Mercenaries mode which is as great as ever and all the other DLC modes which is a mixed bag. The DLC modes are hit and miss in execution but they do try out some interesting ideas, so you might like some more than me.Personally I think this is a great entry in the RE series even if it has it's problems and is well worth the discount price to get all of it. Also want to point out that it's amazing that this game looks better than most of the games on this generation of hardware. LOL
