Product is legit
I just received these today (came in a nice product box not just an Amazon one) so I'll have to update this review if things suddenly go South, but even after just a few hours use I can feel a difference with my self diagnosed ulnar nerve damage or entrapment (cubital tunnel syndrome). I've played guitar for 20 years up until a guitar exercise I did and went too far with injured my fretting wrist or left arm/wrist. I didn't touch the guitar for about 5 or 6 weeks and then felt I needed to perhaps start trying to do some physical therapy when I realized I was experiencing tingling and numbness mainly in my ring and pinky fingers when I'd bend my elbow or lean on them (also can be referred to as Cellbow because when bending elbow to use phone it goes numb) so it seemed apparently I was experiencing some nerve issues so I slowly started doing specific physical therapy exercises which I found helped when I stumbled upon a guitar player who recommended exactly something like this to help with cubital tunnel I knew I had to check it out as whatever is wrong with me seems to be ulnar nerve related but anyway long way of saying I believe that this helps. I plan to come back and update my review as things progress but the products seem rather good quality for the price! I dig it definitely glad I got the whole set too because I plan to play guitar for a long time to come!Edit update- using these and a wrist and elbow brace while sleeping has helped me heal and I play guitar again!! Great product and great price

Well made, compact and beneficial
Bought this product to help with finger and wrist fatigue and to help build strength in hands, fingers and forearms. They are well made, easy to take on and off, and I bought the package that gives you three different intensities, which are noticeably different and allows you a progression path as you build strength. Watch the Youtube videos on how to position the bands and how to remove them as it makes more sense than the written directions that come with the product, which are sparse. (You should hold the little tab on the bands with one hand as you insert/remove your fingers and thumb of the other hand. This holds the band more stable and prevents it from rolling.) Youtube videos also give you a number of different exercise options that add interest and variety. I'm pleased with the product as it gives good finger, wrist, forearm and even bicep/tricep and shoulder strengthening depending on which exercises you do. After use it feels like my hands and fingers are much less stiff and heavy feeling. I will likely order another set of these so I can have two hand exercisers of the same intensity to use at the same time. With one set, I use the light and medium intensity balls, and then switch hands for the different sets.

THIS MAY SAVE YOUR HAND!
Handmaster Hand exerciser, set of 3 - 1 Orange, 1 Red, 1 PurpleI'm and artist. I work with my hands everyday. I can not afford to have injuries to my primary tool.Being a potter, I developed tendonitis in my middle finger from overwork and repeated stress... I did several google searches, watched various videos, and decided to purchase this set. After the first week of daily use, I noticed a considerable improvement, and the finger and hand was stronger overall. I worked up to 3 sets of 30 reps for each hand with the purple ball.By the 3rd week, my hand was strong enough to use the red ball (medium). After 5 weeks, I have worked up to 3 sets of 30 reps with the red ball. Much of the tenderness has gone away only after 5 weeks... this is a great relief because after some research I've read- some tendonitis injuries don't go away for 6 months. I have not done any throwing for about 2 months, so I am really looking forward to doing it again... soon! The only con is that after frequent use, the foam ball does tend to crack... probably because of the way the rubber band stretches around it at the thumb end. The red ball (middle firmness) seems to be cracking faster than the purple one... probably because it is stiffer. Perhaps a coating of plastic epoxy where the thumb band stretches it the most will fix and prevent any further cracking. I give this 5 stars for effectiveness, 4 stars for cracking. Even so, I would purchase this again if it does fall apart because of its effectiveness in healing the tendonitis.I could do it again I would get only the purple and red ball separately. The orange is TOO FIRM- almost racquet ball firm. If you can do five repetitions with the orange ball, you can easily crush a ripe apple with your bare hands.

Helped me recovery from a painful climbing injury!
I've been using this product for about 25 days to help me rebound from the later stages of an injury in my left middle finger: a partially torn A2 pulley and inflammation of my synovial membrane right at the proximal interphalangeal joint (synovitis) - both of which I acquired through rock climbing. Truth be told, I was pretty scared of the long term implications of this injury as I lost nearly half of my range of motion (my left middle finger could not fully close when I formed a fist nor could it fully extend, looking like it was always bent). It felt like I had arthritis. It hurt to move my finger and it hurt to put any pressure on my PIP joint - especially from the sides.Using this product in conjunction with daily stretching, NSAIDs, icing, and resting, I'm very glad to say that I've fully regained range of motion in my injured finger. I've gone back to rock climbing and have been relying on taping techniques to alleviate pressure of my finger as I recondition it back into full strength. Overall I'd say that the handmaster was a fairly essential part of my recovery process. I'm planning on continuing to use this product as a means to work on extensor muscles, even long after I fully recover.
