Good overall. Just stick it to the motor housing.
Works well. I use it to track how often my septic effluent pump runs. It's useful for determining if your check valve needs to be replaced, or if rainwater is intruding into your septic tank.The battery only lasted about 6 months, which isn't great.The software is intuitive and easy to use. However, the date formatting is very strange when the data is exported to a csv file.

Super Simple
Super simple little device. Great for the specific application of measuring runtime. Note you will need either the free or paid version of Onset's Hoboware software to launch and read out collected data. When I purchase it did not come with the needed mini USB cord to connect to the computer. So if you don't already have one be sure to pick one up.
