Disappointed with the size. Otherwise very pretty design. I have purchased similar fans for way less money! And they have held up for years.

The fan is fairly easy to use and quite beautiful. However, I had to use it a couple of times to figure out how to hold it correctly in order to keep it from closing shut. It doesn’t lock in place when you open it.UPDATE:Somehow I realized I had dropped my fan near my seat in church, and when I checked the lost and found the next Sunday it wasn’t there. I figured whoever found it must need it so I blessed them and ordered another one. (Someone gave me a fan after I had done that, but I really loved this particular fan which is why I bought a second one.) I received several compliments on the fan, as it is beautiful. And it is lightweight and provides a lot of air flow. (I actually carry extra fans with me [different type], and I give them to anyone I see fanning themselves with a piece of paper.)

This fan is so pretty! I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I haven't had any problems closing it. I keep it in my purse and mostly use it outside in the summer heat. I lost the little slip case almost immediately, but I keep it closed with a hair tie.
