Customer service counts!
This unit is worth the peace of mind knowing your pet is safe from heat or cold. Unfortunately, our unit broke after 10 months, but the customer service was exceptional and a replacement was waiting for us when we got home. The new unit has different features than we are used to, but the connectivity and battery life are supposed to be improved. I would buy again.

Waggle support, service, and functionality is outstanding!
I absolutely love our waggle and the service and support! Setup is very easy and support helps you right away if you need help. It is very easy to use on my phone, provides a lot of information all in one place. It provides me with ease of mind that my pets are safe in case of a heat/AC failure. Very professional company!

Don't waste your money!!
The temperature reading is off by 15 degrees. See images. We are in the Colorado Mountains all windows open where it is nice and cool, I have a sweater on, no way its 81 degrees here. I am steaming with my Verizon signal so I know I have good cell service. I unplugged it about a our ago and have yet to receive an alert about power. I did get an alert yesterday when I tested it so I know it works but if it is not 100% reliable what's the point. Set up on the app was a total pain, it kicks you out at any point if you leave the screen and you have to enter all over. Even when I clicked to read the terms at checkout, had to start all over. Seriously I am all about techy things and this is a waste on money. The people that keep it probably don't even know if it works or not, and have not thoroughly tested it out, they just like the nice screen on their phone. Returning it today.SO UPDATE I spoke with support and apparently the unit lost the the cell signal. But I got no alert. So if it can lose the signal and not update temp readings or send alerts what good is it. I used the reset button and it seems to be working now. I will update again when I get the answer on lose of cell signal alerts.UPDATE 4 days now no response from customer service. I think they blackballed me. We were out yesterday and got a warning that we hit our 83 degree high head alert so we rushed back and the RV was fine the digital thermometer we have on the shelf and the one on the thermostat read 74 and 76. The only thing I would say it might be good for is the power off alert. IF YOU HAVE A CONNECTED CELL SIGNAL. JUST NOT RELIABLE FOR THE MONEY WE PAYED. ITS GOING BACK.

Good price for the money all I wanted to do was just be able to find out if my air conditioner goes off in the trailer or the electricity goes off

Waggle Device
Absolutely love this! Specifically purchased it for my trip. I felt very confident, leaving my dogs in our motorhome, knowing the temperature and the humidity levels at all times through the app. I highly recommend this!

Description is misleading
I purchased the Waggle Lite to monitor our RV when we are away and cannot take our pups with us. It had gotten a lot of good reviews in various publications and I wanted a device that worked on a cellular network as opposed to WiFi which can be spotty in places. The description says subscriptions start as low as $12.50 a month. That was incorrect. The lowest pricing was $16.60 with 2 years paid up front. A month to month plan is $29 and we have no plans to be RVing full time. You are also locked in to Verizon. Waggle must have some deal with them. There is no way to switch out the SIM card that I have found so far. If I could do that, I could probably find that $12.50 monthly plan. Waggle uses 4g LTE so the unit has a phone number -- I believe they are obligated by law to tell you the number if you ask. [Waggle, I am asking.]Next, I plugged in the unit to charge. It took a few hours, but then charge should last several days. Not so, I was getting low battery alerts the first day. I plug it in to charge again, but after several hours it goes from 29% to 49% and is texting low battery within an hour. Must be defective. We are on the road with our dog and a device that will not hold a charge. So much for peace of mind if we have to leave her -- actually, we would not risk it; therefore, the 3 star rating which I may change to 2.There is more fine print that you do not learn about until setting up the device. You get unlimited emails which cost nothing to send. You are limited to 500 text messages a month -- 250 temperature, 50 humidity, 140 power loss, 30 power recovery, 15 battery, 10 network, 5 geofence. Ironically, battery low also generates power loss and uses 2 of your 500. Also, I bought the Lite version which does not do the geofence stuff, do I only get 495 text messages or can I get 5 more temperature texts? For the cost of service, it ought to be unlimited everything. It is no voice and does not use a lot of data. I would be very upset if something happened to our pups because our text allotment for the month was used up.Next, this device does not check as often as it should. It updates about every 15 minutes, but if it sends an alert, it waits 30 minutes to an hour before checking again. If it sends an alert, it ought to recheck every 2 to 5 minutes until the alert is resolved. Finally, watch the sign up process. You are put on an auto renewal for whatever you choose. I went for a monthly plan because I only want to pay for when I use it.Think twice before you buy. The device is $199 which is quickly surpassed with the subscription. I would think the purchase price should include the first 3 months, but it does not. I got a defective unit which will go back. The text messages are limited. The whole thing could have been thought out better. The unit worked well during our trip out west. I only paid for one month of service, $29 and turned off the auto-renew. Now I see messages that say pay for an enhanced plan or stay with"basic service." What is "basic service?" I find no description anywhere. The implication is that I have some service but what is it? Come on Waggle, get the story straight.
