I love this uv light. It was delivered very fast in time for my daughters last minute party switch up. It works so well. I am impressed with the quality. All I had to do was connect it and turn the switch on which was simple. Its insanely bright. I haven't had it for long but I feel like it will last a long time. I would recommend this.

I do cyanotype printing and this is the best light for that indoors. It is my second one purchased.

Bright as heck and makes my glass POP. It's heavy duty and seems like it'll really last. My only complaint is it gets HOT but it has a solid aluminum case with built-in heatsinks to protect the LEDs. It might not be best for an enclosed space. I also have the 50 watt version and, while it works well, this is better, albeit hotter. They both put out very little visible light.

This review is for the 50 watt 365nm LED backlight purchased October of 2022.11/26/24 update: the manufacturer sent me a new light back in 2022 to replace the one that was failing. I ran the replacement light all of october and most of November 2023 as well as 2024, and it survived without failure. Increasing star rating from 2 to 4 seeing how the company sent me a new one that lasted at least a couple seasons so far.11/4/22 update: After one month of use, running about 6 hours each night, several banks of LEDs have failed. See attached picture. Lowered rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. I'm going to see if the manufacturer will make it right and send a replacement, as the 30-day Amazon return window is expired by 2 days :-(After looking through other's reviews I saw several other people report that individual LEDs were failing relatively early in the life of the product.***********************************************************************************************************************Early October 2022 Initial review:After one night of use outdoors, overall I am very happy with this light! The Pros far outweigh the Cons.Pros:1. Appears to produce true 365nm light, or close to it! 365nm light is largely not visible to the human eye until it hits a fluorescent object, making a more stunning black light effect in a fully darkened room. At this point in time, this is rare as almost all LED "backlights" on the market now emit around 400nm light, which does cause most (not all) neon colored objects to fluoresce, but also casts visibly purple light on non fluorescent objects.2. Surprisingly bright! Equivalent in output to perhaps two or three 40-watt T12 fluorescent bulbs driven by 1.0 ballast factor ballasts.3. Only consumes 34 watts, but still has respectable light output (see con below)4. It does not get excessively hot as some other reviewers stated. It was warm after a few hours of use, but nothing to be concerned about.Cons:1. Only consumes 34 watts. It is rated for "50 watts." I'm not surprised, but please be honest.2. The front glass lens is clear. It would be nice if it was woods glass so as to filter out more of the visible spectrum of light emitted by the LED's. (365 nm LEDs are fairly narrow in their spectral bandwidth, but some visible bluish light is still produced.)3. The lettering on the front of the unit is upside down when mounted with the water tight power cord bushing facing down (you never would want the bushing facing up in a wet environment.)

This light is perfect for what I had in mind.It is at least as powerful as advertised, their advertising is conservative regarding its functionality.My son's room is covered with phosphorescent, glow in the dark stars and decals. The 365nm wavelength light works far better than the standard 395nm wavelength blacklights on the market to charge phosphorescent materials strongly and quickly.It is simple to set up and use. We were up and running within 2 minutes of opening the box.Quickly and easily used with many mounts and lighting equipment.Mine is sitting atop a telescopic tripod.The full body heat-sink design means it won't overheat and melt anything nearby.Don't get me wrong, it does get uncomfortably warm, but it disperses the heat very well, so it doesn't get hot enough to harm people or damage property.Happy with this, and will be getting more in the future.It is very durable, surviving being knocked over on carpet during child-like roughhousing

Bought this to use for some small UV gel projects. Works so much better than the small flashlight I was using. Having an on off switch is really nice and easy to turn on and off. Stand on the back is great way to prop or hang up so you are not stuck having to hold the light. Really bright and helped the curing process.Durable cord, doesn't feel cheap and flimsy.

im giving 3 stars because when i ordered im almost certain it was labled as rechargeable and wireless. what i recieved is totally useless to me. i need for fishing so i need portable. box it came in was so destroyed i didnt even attempt to send back. as for light its self i took in house plugged in. it works does put out good uv for size. just sad that alot of products now days mislable there products either accidental or on purpose. i have also even noticed that some change product detail after some time or complaints.

I needed a product that could sanitize and kill bugs, mold and bacteria.I set this light up on the front porch overnight and there were thousands of dead bugs in the morning. I live next to property that is not maintained but has a baby forest overrun with various types of bugs. This light kills them all very effective on the mold And bacteria as well.Every time I run into something nasty behind a wall, I set this light on it before I'll even start work. I leave the light on overnight. If it's really bad, I'll leave it on longer than that.I also put all the vegetables that come into my house under this light after I've rinsed them with vinegar, salt and water. The produce gets a nice fresh look to it almost idyllic.I almost returned this light because there are other lights that claim to be as good as this one for $20 or $40 etc. This one was $80. But the cheaper ones simply didn't work for my purposes. They were great for party lights but they didn't do what I needed. The wavelength is different between the different lights.
