Bulky Battery, but provides many hours of use!
Loved this battery, Gives me close to 6 hours with my Sony pxw x180 camera, 439 minutes. The bp-u30 and bp-u60 can't come close to this battery's hours. It might be a bit to big, cause it sticks out a lot, but is worth getting.

Pay the extra money
Buy a generic Sony battery. These didn’t hold up and wouldn’t charge on my OEM charger for my $6k Sony Cinema. Shame on me for trying to save a dollar losing my time. Going right now to buy a $200 Sony battery that is quality

It doesn't charge with Sony original charger!
I ordered one of these for my fx6 and it doesn't charge with the original charger that comes with fx6 so I ordered a replacement and it still doesn't work. Don't waste your time and money buying this.

It worked great on my FS7, until it broke after two months. Pretty disappointed.
