not too sure about the build quality. The face of the gauge is made with very thin plastic and bent on gentle force. The piston wobbles when it is extended.

Unfathomably hard to use. The pressure guage is unreliable to begin with, showing no pressure when there was clearly plenty of air in the tyre. Incredibly difficult to push the pump in. You have to hold the handle just right because it keeps trying to fold back down. To begin with, no matter how much I pushed the pump, the guage just wasn't going up. I kept unscrewing the valve because I thought maybe I hadn't connected it properly. I was sat on the gravel getting really frustrated. In the end I had to put the guage part on the floor while wedging the pump itself between my knees and use both hands and upper body weight to push the pump in fully as fast as I could. It was a full work out before I even got on the bike!This is not my first rodeo with bikes. I'm 41 and for half of my life cycling has been my main mode of transport from when I was a teenager. I have pumped up many a tyre. My boyfriend is also an avid cyclist and he found it difficult and confusing.Really disappointed as I'd read some of the reviews and thought I'd found a decent budget pump that ticked all the boxes. Unfortunately not. I should have watched the video reviews. They say it all really.Would not recommend.

After struggling to inflate a tube after a series of on-the-road punctures, I decided to invest in a new pump. After consideration (including battery pumps) I chose this one. It is a fantastic device for the price. I love the fact that it has a flexible attachment which screws on to the valve. The pressure gauge is good too and the extending handle. Very pleased with my purchase.

As a portable, slimline hand-pump, this unit works great. It's got the right amount of leverage and two pump styles to allow for faster pumping or more volumous pumping (better for pumping in the higher psi).Unfortunately for this price it seems the gauge can be faulty (depending on the unit, seems to work for others, unfortunately not myself). I had contacted the seller regarding the faulty gauge, the seller got back to me within 8 hours indicating they had sent me a replacement, ETA arrival 2 days after sending the e-mail describing the fault. (They have a 1 year warranty for each pump, regardless of the fault, according to the seller, which is fantastic).Gauge now works (you have to be very careful to align the pump valve) and tested against my electronic pump, and the read was +/-2 Psi so I'm happy this now works. Great little thing to have when out commuting, especially if you need to quickly check the tyres pressure, all for a tenner.P.S - They give you a small abrasive sheet of metal and 4 tyre puncture patches for free as well as a bracket to mount to the bike frame, honestly the pump looks rather nice with is black painted aluminum.Overall, for a tenner, you get a pump/gauge/1 year no questions asked warranty. My experience has been rather pleasant, judging by the other reviews however, I'd say if you have an issue with the item, just e-mail the seller and they should be able to sort/replace the item.
