ProKeeper Flour Storage Container, 4-Quart, Dishwasher Safe, BPA-Free Plastic

This container matches others in my collection, so it's easy to stack. I like the built-in scraper, and also like that it's removable for filling and cleaning. Holds a 5 lb bag of flour with room for a scoop. There is a notch in the lid for holding a scoop, but the scoop is not included. I think it seals well, and keeps my dry goods fresh. We go through things like flour and sugar very quickly so I can't speak to long-term storage, but I do think the seal is airtight and keeps contents dry and fresh. The latch on the lid holds up well over time and can withstand daily use.

I love these containers. I had to return the most recent ones I purchased because they were delivered in a plastic Amazon bag with no cushioning wrap and were broken in transit. Each of the two containers was in its own clear plastic bag with a barcode and then the two were placed together in a white shipping bag. The bottoms of each were broken with shards found in the bags. I have several others that I received previously that were not broken. My baking cabinet is full of them in various sizes and shapes. Things I love about them… The various sizes fit my needs. They seal well. The optional scraper bars are genius and I like that they store attached to the inside of the lid when not in use. They stack nicely and have low risk of one falling off the other when being shifted around on the shelf. The closure mechanism is easy to open and close with arthritic hands. The only negative I’ve found is that each of them has a notch at the top of the container (where the lid latches) that drops down lower than the rest of the top rim. This makes it so it can’t be filled to the top of the container, but really isn’t that big of a problem.

We use this great container as a storage container for our dog's food. Food is kept crisp and fresh. It's a great 'mid-way' point from the large bag we purchase. Filling the dog's bowl directly out of the large bag causes the food to get stale over time. By sealing the larger bag between intermediate fill-ups, we have the best of all worlds. We've talked about taking this approach with other foods we get from big box retailers.

I would like a handle on the lid so I can pull it open. The gasket is good and tight, so there is friction in opening the lid, so it needs a handle. Currently, there is nothing to grab onto, neither on the lid nor the clear body.But other than that, this is the best product of its type. The removeable scrap-off bar is useful. The size is perfect for protein powder.

Nice quality but the holes are to big for what I needed so I ended up using them for sunflower and pumpkin seeds to shake on my salads

I love these storage containers! Even when full they are not awkward to pull off a shelf and/or maneuver around. They also are super clear - they don’t have that murky/whiteish tint other “clear” plastic canisters have. These are almost as clear as glass. They don’t smell super “plastic” when you get them. I give them a good wash and thorough dry, and they age good to go! Keep my flours fresh and bug free.

I bought 2 of these so that, together, they'd hold approximately 5 to 7 pounds total of dry cat food. The food is kept safe and fresh in these air-tight containers. They're stackable, too. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have them in every size and I use them for ingredients used most often that you’d buy in big bags: flour, sugar, brown sugar, the likes. For this size, I used one for flour, the other for pancake mix.
