Works Great With AppleTV 4k
Happy with this purchase so far. Connected with ease to AppleTV 4k. Have played hours of Asphalt 8 with only one disconnection during game play. Works reliably and connects every time. Build quality is solid and feels significant in one's hands and not flimsy. Not sure about battery life yet as it's brand new and have only charged it once.

It's a brick after 10 months. (DO NOT PURCHASE STEESERIES PRODUCTS)
It worked fine until suddenly it stopped working altogether during light use. After searching online, reddit and the company's website, this appears to be a common flaw. They have software you can download and plug in to fix this. But it doesn't do anything. They say that if it's bricked and a light is still on, wait up to 50 hrs to have battery drain. Here I am 72 hours later with no change and the software doesn't recognize the item at all. Maybe if I spend the next 12 hours on the phone with their support thing, they'll send me a coupon for a replacement. I regret this purchase. There has to be something more reliable.Update (Jan 2023):-The device first bricked in October 2022-I spent a week following the online instructions to try to recover it (they tell you to let the device draw down it's full charge so that lights go off before starting recovery.)-I tried their recovery process which involves downloading their software and it's supposed to automatically recognize the device and begin recovery. That never worked after numerous attempts.-I then contact support to let them know that the instructions online are not working. 3 weeks after I submit that request I receive an email from the "Customer Experience" system which simply has copied and pasted the instructions from their website. These are the same instructions that were the topic of my email. I had laid out very carefully what I did, following those instructions and that they don't work. So their response is to copy paste the instructions. Infuriating.-I respond without delay (Dec 3rd) that those instructions don't work and detail (again) what I did and what I see.-Another 3 weeks pass, now 3 days before Christmas, I get a new email from the Customer Experience saying "Apologies on the delay, the uptick in holiday tickets have casued [sic] longer waitimes [sic]." Of course, it's absurd to blame the holidays for a six week delay that started in November or the second three week delay that started in early Dec. The especially infuriating part is that the delay led to nothing other than "if the instructions don't work we have to replace the device." This could have been said after my first email a month and a half earlier. There is no new information exchanged in the interim, nothing specific about my device. Nothing new suggested or tried to effect repair. This is clearly just standard protocol but delayed by a month and a half for no good reason.-So now I've spent two weeks on the elaborate "RMA" process where I take lots of pictures of the device and serial number then wait for more instructions on how to destroy the device and take more pictures.-A nice bonus is that while they wait weeks and months between communications, all of the requests for info from me have one week threatening deadlines that invalidate the whole process if I miss. They are clearly trying to make this hard so that you just give up.-Two more weeks of that nonsense and I finally have a code to use on their webstore to order a new device. And of course the device is not in stock, and no info available on when it will be back in stock. AND my code expires in 60 days. So I've asked them what to do if the device doesn't come back in stock before the 60 days are up. No response yet.So I've been dealing with their delays and incoherent nonsense instructions and elaborate dances/photos and still haven't been made whole from the sudden bricking of a warranty covered device 3 MONTHS AGO. If I'm lucky I'll get a replacement after 5 months but I will update this review assuming I still don't have a replacement in 2 more months.PLEASE DON'T SUPPORT THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. MAY THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND THEIR INVESTORS GO BROKE. THEIR DEVICES BRICK ALL THE TIME AND THEY DO NOT REPLACE THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER IF AT ALL. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY AND USE DELAYS AND OBFUSCATION TO TRICK YOU OUT OF THE REPLACEMENT SYSTEM. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND RUDE. THERE ARE MANY GREAT COMPETITORS ON AMAZON AND ELSEWHERE. BUY ANYTHING ELSE. I WISH I HAD SPENT A LITTLE MORE TO GET SOMETHING FROM A COMPANY THAT MAKES DECENT RELIABLE PRODUCTS AND STANDS BEHIND THEM.

Good controller but needs USB C update
Pretty good controller but it still uses a lightning cable to charge. They need to update the plug to USB C.

Works with M4 Mac Mini
Worked right away when connected to my M4 mac mini for Apple Arcade. Games seem to still support this controller even on Mac OS Sequoia 15.4. You cannot though update the firmware on the GG Engine from Steel Series on a Apple Silicon computer. They don't support Apple Silicon yet. So it's gonna be hit or miss in the future if this Nimbus+ still works once the controller gets older in age and it's impossible for a firmware update. It's already kind of ancient since it uses the old-style lightning charge connector. Look at the playstation dual sense if you want something newer.

The battery is a super star; it runs as advertised 50 hrs easily.
The item is as advertised. I use it on AppleTV and those games and that system is not really the best test but the controller connects and easily is put into use. There are not much configuration or settings as on AppleTV the games dictate but it is hard to say if the controller is over priced a bit or the AppleTV games simply can not put it to good use. No complaints about this item but a cheaper controller may work just as well.
