Inexpensive but quality vacuum for the price.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:A great value. My Dyson Micro has a broken clip that holds the battery in place, but since it is out of warranty, the cost to replace the battery was $130. So, I started looking at vacuums under $150. I prefer a corded canister vacuum anyway, and I don't necessarily need a bagless vacuum. I surely wasn't going to wait for the new Dyson pencil vac—and who knows how astronomical in price that will be. Vacuum quality:My only complaint is the Floor nozzle, it seems to get in the way of picking up fine and small particles on my hard tile floors. But the suction is sufficient, even though the motor is only 800 watts, that machine as plenty of power especially when I use the other attachments such as the crevice tool and the dusting brush. I haven't tried the Pet tool yet, since I don't have pets. But I do have asthma and this vacuum is coming in handy for keeping the dust levels in my home down to a minimum.Dust collection:The Eureka caught my eye, it looked similar to Miele canister, had a long cord length, and automatic cord winder, a few bags are included, HEPA filter, and it is Quiet. I live in an upstairs apartment, and the only sound from the machine that's louder than the motor are the wheels rolling on the floor while the machine is on. It's a great vacuum. Yes it is plasticky, but what do you expect from a Vacuum this inexpensive? I expect to take care of the vacuum and keep up with the maintenance of replacing the filters and bags.Use:I did look at the other Eureka canister vacuums, and they seem good as well, such as the Mighty Mite and the bagless canisters which look compact. The Eureka NEN170 I have isn't as compact, but it is small enough to hide in closet, and light enough to carry around and do above floor cleaning.

Powerful suction Works awesome
This is one awesome little vacuum cleaner with powerful suction if you ever seen the videos where it shows you that when you vacuum the rug and the suction actually lifts the rug from its foundation it's not a joke it really does it was a bit hard to use the nozzle that came with it on the carpet but I find that after you run the nozzle over the carpet a few times it kind of like mashes down the bristles a little bit makes it a little easier to vacuum the carpet however in the nose of the handle unfortunately if you have large pieces of bread and it doesn't go through the angle of the hose just right to go into the bag it gets caught up in the angle of the hose so you may need something that can bend to push the debris out of the way of the clothes or maybe gently tap it on a hard surface or something to loosen the debris which I had to do so rule of thumb if you have like corn chips that are kind of hard to crumble or you have stale pieces of bread that you accidentally get sucked up into the vacuum you may have a bit of a time trying to get it out so it's too bad that the mighty might doesn't come with something that can help push down the debris that gets stuck in the vacuum cleaner hose but other than that this is a very good vacuum and very well worth the money very satisfied with my purchase

BEST buy of ANY canister vacuum!
After retiring an exceptional 44 year Sharp canister vac, it was time to hunt for a new one. After exhaustive research, narrowed down the choices between this Eureka and a Soniclean canister vac.Our daughter just purchased the Soniclean and loves it.The Soniclean however keeps going up in cost (currently $279) while this Eureka is on sale currently for just $116. That’s a $163 difference! It’s the quitest vacuum I’ve ever been around besides the Soniclean.Extra long power cord which is very helpful. On board tools are minimal at best, but do the job. Nice that they are built-in instead of hanging off of the metal hose extension (like the Soniclean does and they always fall off).Main floor head could be thinner in height and wider in width like the Soniclean vac, so that the vacuum floor head slips under stoves & fridges to vacuum up crumbs and bits of food. The vacuum suction hose itself should be 2-3 feet longer as you are constantly tugging on the canister, especially when reaching out with longer arm strokes. The suction hose should also swivel at the canister connection point.Love that it has a larger capture bag with replacements easily found on Amazon and that it also has a HEPA exhaust filter. The exhaust blows straight up in the air from the top of the vac instead of straight out the back. The carry handle needs to be positioned directly over (above) the vacuum wheels, like on the Soniclean, as it makes picking up the vacuum and carrying it SO much easier than the low, front handle position currently on the vacuum. The suction is absolutely incredible! How can a vacuum be so quiet and have amazingly strong suction??While the Soniclean has a 3 foot longer power cord, an extremely quiet motor (same as Eureka) a better floor head and better placed carrying handle, the Eureka has built-in tools, a 26 foot power cord and for $163 difference I chose the Eureka vacuum.Just wished the Eureka had a longer vacuum hose that swiveled and a better floor head and a better positioned carry handle and it would be the PERFECT canister vacuum.Hey Eureka, you’re so close to perfection with this vacuum. Make the necessary changes and you’ll sell more vacuums!

Great suction!
Cant afford the Miele so this by far is the best and I clean for a living so I've come across a few vacuums... Only issue I have is the plastic hose on my 1st buy broke and I taped it till I gave up and tried a different model but that lasted a year before it shut down ...just bought this for the 2nd time but now I know I can replace the hose if it breaks again cause I rather do that. .. This vacuum is super strong the suction is AMAZING I just don't like the hoses...when you put it away make sure the hose is not in a sharp bent position or it could crack...
